We are selling our house and our furnace and flu failed the Laclede Gas inspection. I contacted Vic Vitt on a Wednesday and made an appt for him to come out that Friday. He was on time, very pleasant, reviewed the report from Laclede. After cleaning the furnace and coming up with a plan for the flu (it was a bit more complicated than the norm) he told me he would have to come back with a partner to install it since it required getting on the roof. He said he could come Monday but when I showed concern with taking another day off work he said he would gladly come back the next day (Saturday) if that worked better. We woke up on Saturday morning and discovered our AC had quit working! I called Vic early that morning to give him the heads up and he added it to the list of things he needed to fix that day! He and his son (his partner) were very nice, on time and informative about what they were doing and why. They did a great job and always have (we've used them periodically over the last 11 years). Highly recommend.

Technician showed up on time, checked system, and performed requested service. Nothing too exciting, which is a good thing. We did not really know how much it was going to cost until the tech gave us the bill, which is a bit annoying, but understandable since he had to figure out how much refrigerant we would need.

Vic Vitt swiftly and efficiently repaired the system and got it up and running by 2:30 PM. I am sure he had a better Saturday planned then spending it in my basement fixing my A/C, but he answered the page and was completely courteous and professional. We are EXTREMELY happy with the service call and the result. When something goes wrong, it seems to be at the most inopportune time. This was no exception. We have relatives visiting this week and needed the house to be cool. It is! I highly recommend Vitt Heating and Air Conditioning.
