"We are very pleased with the service received from Charlie and Eddie from C&S Clean Air. Our house is close to forty years old, and its ductwork and dryer vent had never been cleaned. What a good feeling to have this work done by these hard-working guys!"

"Heather said that I could direct the work. So the work done was what I wanted done, such as taking the dust ruffle off three beds, (I did the washing and drying) and replacing the dust ruffle and making two of the beds. beds. My crew, Paula and Natalie were friendly and hard workers. I was asked to inspect their work when they finished a section. If I noticed something it was promptly taken care of, however, my criticisms were few. I recommend this company and I will rehire them."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Clean the outside of your home at least once a year. If you live in an area with salty sea air, high levels of pollen, or an abundance of leaves in the fall, it's helpful to wash it at least two times a year. Frequent cleanings will allow you to remove debris and pests before they flourish into infestations, or cause mold and mildew.

While spotting a bit of algae on your roof may not bother you at first glance, it is certainly bothering your roof shingles. The presence of algae can cause decay and shorten the lifespan of your roof’s shingles, which can lead to much bigger problems down the road. While this issue may seem cosmetic at first glance, it goes much deeper than that.

It’s possible that installing solar panels can lead to mold on the roof. The panels themselves are not the issue. Problems caused by improper installation—such as roof leaks and mounts that aren’t sealed properly—can cause mold. Another potential cause of mold is debris accumulation under panels, which can trap moisture. If you live somewhere with extreme snow, rain, or hail, your home could be more prone to mold.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

Yes, algae-resistant shingles will prevent algae and moss growth, providing double protection for your roof and roof flashing. The copper-infused granules on algae-resistant shingles release copper ions that inhibit plant growth in general, so moss will have a harder time growing on your roof, too. Keep in mind that copper ions flowing off your roof during rainfall can also inhibit plant growth below, so your gardens and grass may be affected.
