"They did a wonderful job and were great to work with. They replace some porch boards, painted the garage door and front door, replaced weatherstripping around garage, painted the trim around the front of the house and the windows as well as painted the porch. They had started work and had to pause because of a storm but were really prompt about rescheduling to two days later and got the job done really well. Would definitely recommend and we plan to hire them again!"

"Had our crawl space incapsulated with Trevorâ ¦..Tanner and Eduardo from the Springfield office and they killed it. They went above and beyond to make us happy and our mold issues are over. "We are extremely happy with how our new windows and new front door turned out. After some unexpected challenges with the way our home was built, our installation crew quickly and efficiently adapted to make sure our windows and door were installed with expert care. Every time we see our new beautiful picture window we are left breathless! And our beautiful front door is the perfect upgrade for the look of our home. Thank you RBA!"

"Champion sent a very nice gentleman to check the windows and explain the window options and quality. Since my family was in the construction business, I was familiar with the things he explained and knew he was being honest. The price quoted was commensurate with the value, so we opted to go with Champion for our new windows. We are happy enough with them that next we're getting a quote from them for replacement siding. Will happily recommend them to everyone."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Options include framed, frameless, beveled, and custom-designed mirrors. Choose based on style and functionality.

Regular cleaning and inspecting seals to prevent fogging and maintain clarity.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.

Rubbing alcohol on its own will not remove scratches from glass. You can, however, combine rubbing alcohol with baking soda—in a one-to-one mixed ratio—to create a paste that will help get minor scratches out of glass.

For small cracks, glass-bonding glue that can be pressed into cracks may be able to save a broken mirror. If a corner of a mirror has been chipped, you may be able to conceal the fact by adding a border or frame to the mirror. Deeper cracks and chips should be addressed by a glass-restoration professional if you're trying to preserve an antique or heirloom mirror.
