"To be truthful i was very skeptical hiring anyone to put on a new deck because of all the horror stories you hear of contractors taking your deposit and never returning to finish the job. BUTâ ¦ meeting with Jacob Quick made it all very easy. I met with Jacob many times because of my apprehension and having issues with making decisions. After signing a contract, Jacob kept in contact with me on starting date, permit issues, when materials would be delivered, and if there was inclement weather conditions that they could not work that day. From the start of teardown to the finished project, they were there every day at 7:30, making sure that time was ok with me. They had a crew of 4-5 people working all day. When an issue came up, they were up front and we discussed it. I felt very relieved that all the guys were very knowledgeable and experienced. "Denis and his team do excellent work, they go over and above expectations, and they get it done in the time frame promised. I started with an interior paint job, then hired them to refinish the hardwood floors because of the great job they did on the walls. The upstairs looked so good when they were finished that I had him bid on the construction in the basement, and I had them complete that project as well. Again, they brought it home exactly as designed and faster than anticipated. They do high quality work and are very easy to work with."

"I really hate that HA requires me to fill out all of these stars since I can't comment on all of them yet - as I just had the very first interaction with the contractor today. However, I can already tell you that their customer service was great so far. They came by today to take a look at the damages and work with me and the insurance adjuster. They immediately built a good connection with me and the adjuster as well - and it felt like they'd be helping me throughout the process. Their rep already showed with some of my questions answered in an envelope (I submitted some questions through HA request such as warranty or license info - and he showed up with a package with those). I loved that! This assures me that they're transparent and aren't afraid to tell me the truth about their business. So far, they're working on the estimate, so I have no information on costs or work quality yet. I'll update this post as my project continues."
