Called office and set up appointment for inspection and estimate. No call - no show. Called office and wanted to know why no one showed up. Said they would reschedule the next day, Again, no call-no show. Called final time and was told someone would get back to me. No call. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional business practices.

Amazing! I was on Angie's list for days reading the reviews before I selected a roofing company. I contacted two other companies before J&B (which was dumb!). One company was a constant no show from the beginning, the other gave me a bid then never called or showed for 5 appointments!!!! J&B came out right away and gave me a fair quote. They came out today and crushed it. They took down part of the siding and roof that was causing the problem. They took photos and showed me all of the short cuts the company who installed the siding 4 years ago took including not wrapping the house!! Needless to say J&B did it right and I am so happy with the service. Hilda is great to work with and Hector is a machine up on the roof, does beautiful work. Don't waist time looking for another roofing company, call J&B!!!!! -Nick Woodbury

First of all, the work started before we realized that it was going to. I think we misunderstood when they would start, and it was fine that they started when they did. It was nice to have it done sooner. The roofers arrived early in the morning and worked until dark. They did a great job. You wouldn't have even known they were there if it weren't for all the hammering. They cleaned up after themselves-I've only found a couple of items that were left behind, and that wasn't an issue. There weren't nails all around the yard, or garbage left behind like I've heard about from people who went with other companies. Hilda was a great contact. She was very professional and, like someone said in a previous review, she also told us about the shingles class-action lawsuit. The only reason I gave a B for responsiveness is because, after not hearing anything about our claim, we tried several times to contact her, to no avail. We also left several messages that were never returned. Because the previous owners put on the old roof, and because we didn't know anything about the lawsuit prior to Hilda telling us about it, it wasn't a big deal. She was great to work with besides that. We just bought a new home, and when it comes time for a new roof, I will definitely consider hiring J&B again.

My neighbor and I agreed to get a new roof and she did all of the research. She handed us a packet and asked us to pick which company we wanted to go with. We went through all of her documentation and the different ratings they received on every site she used. We choose this company for a few reasons: 1. lowest price 2. separate contracts for each side of the roof 3. local company who didn't advertise and stayed in business by references They dropped off the contact and our shingle options. Within a couple of weeks, we had a new roof put on. The roofers were amazing. They arrived around 7:45 and started work right at 8am (city ordinance). They worked all day, they were conscience about where they put their trash and cleaned up their areas at the end of the day. They were so polite and considerate when we were home. Really - A+ for how professional and truly pleasant they are. On top of it, they finished in less than two days and everything looked amazing. There were no extra charges or mistakes made during the project.

They showed up on time, worked hard throughout the day. Clean up after themselves.

I am very upset about the follow through. The shingles on the roof are now curling. When I called them, they told me that I need to climb up on the roof, take three of them off, and send them back to the manufacturer. I contracted them to do the work, so they should be ones that take care of this warranty. They also told me that I needed to know the types of shingles that I used. They didn't have any record of the type of shingles that were used. They are unwilling to help me with this, and I do have a 20 year warranty.

I called one for an appointment to have them come out and give me an estimate on a roof repair. We set up an appointment for the next day between 8-9 am. No one showed, no one called to cancel and I had someone here for the scheduled appointment.

Perfect. On time, professional, quick and careful.
