"Dust busters were absolutely amazing! We had never had the ducts cleaned since we moved in in 2913 and who knows if the previous owners had. They were prompt, professional and did a great good on our really really bad ducts and dryer vent. Then they recommended a look at the refrigerator coils and those were pretty bad too. So glad we got this done. They had a great coupon deal on Bbay and were less than half the cost of other companies I called in the area."

While spotting a bit of algae on your roof may not bother you at first glance, it is certainly bothering your roof shingles. The presence of algae can cause decay and shorten the lifespan of your roof’s shingles, which can lead to much bigger problems down the road. There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.

Clean debris, treat for moss, and schedule regular inspections to prevent water damage.

Roof cleaning isn’t a necessity, but it can drastically improve your home’s curb appeal and even prolong the life of your roof, so it’s often a great investment. It’s especially a good idea if shaded parts of your roof experience algae or moss growth, which can damage the shingles and hold water against them, increasing the risk of a roof leak.
