Stafford coordinated everything with my home warranty insurer to replace my furnace. They were quick to come out to diagnose the problem and worked with the warranty folks- made it super easy for me. Didn't try to oversell me either. A quick turnaround time until actual installation and that went quickly (and cleanly/orderly) as well. There was just a little confusion on coordinating inspections post-installation, but that was probably more my fault. Stafford was great to work with- super pleasant folks and great work. (The amount listed was the cost not covered by my warranty- permit etc. Stafford was willing to install the model- and was familiar with it- that the warranty provider allowed.)

The electrician was very punctual and repaired items quickly. Temporary power failures to a stove were checked. He recommended that operation of the stove was safe and more extensive checks weren't necessary. Some workmen might have suggested further investigation but he determined that it was safe and more time wasn't needed. i appreciated this and found him to be very ethical. Interestingly, the stove hasn't had any intermittent power problems since he was here so he was right. I highly recommend service from Stafford Home Service.

We've had Stafford home service out to address various issues with both our Furnace and AC over the past few years. In each instance, they have been able to have schedule the service call very quickly, arrive within the expected time-frame, and fix the issue quickly. They have been very reliable and I plan to continue using their services in the future.

Jason installed outdoor speakers on our deck and fixed the audio system for our home theater. The rest of the speakers had a tinny sound so Jason returned with a new amplifier to check and found out my amplifier was broken. Jason traded me amplifiers at no cost which worked great. Jason was helpful and knew his job. I was very happy.

Stafford put in a new AC unit. Out of the 3 quotes I got, they were the cheapest (all were for same equipment) and least "sales pitchy". They got me scheduled quick and did everything on time.

After visiting our home, understanding our objectives and reviewing the options available to us they provided a detailed, written estimate of the work. Upon our acceptance of their proposal we made a 20% down payment and scheduled the install. They scheduled the work at a convenient time for us, showed up on time and finished the work earlier than expected. They were pleasant and professional in their performance. They were responsive to our concerns and preferences about the appearance of their work. It turned out better than I had hoped. We used Stafford Home Services because of the excellent HVAC work they had done on our daughter and son-ion-law's home. I have recommended them to friends who are interested in similar projects and would use them again myself should I ever have any HVAC projects in the future.

We came across Stafford as part of correcting some electrical issues on our new house as part of the final purchase agreement. We selected 3 top-rated Angie's list electricians to quote the work. Stafford was the most competitively priced and was willing to work with us to separate the scope of work into what would be included in the [purchase agreement to be paid by the seller and what upgrades we were making to the home per our request. They were punctual and polite before, during and after the work. When there was a minor issue/question with the work, they came out and corrected it promptly. Stafford has been great to work with and we are hiring them again to do some boiler work as part of our basement remodel.

Kris, one of the owners, first came out to provide the estimates. He was prompt in arriving, and knew what he was talking about. He provided a few ideas that I hadn't considered, and understood what I was trying to accomplish. The goal of the work they performed was to take the load off of some circuits that I felt were overloaded. Basically, one circuit was providing power to multiple rooms, and some outlets in the basement. Also, the sump pump outlet was tapped into a living room circuit. Initially, my goal was to run two new circuits to the basement, one for general purpose and one for a future water heater replacement. Once Kris saw what was going on, he suggested we run a new circuit dedicated to the sump pump, one dedicated to a freezer in the basement, and then one more for everything else in the basement (including a future water heater). The reasoning behind dedicated circuits for the sump pump and the freezer is that, if something else on the same circuit as those items were to trip the breaker, then those items would be without power as well. In the case of the sump pump, that could mean a flooded basement. With the freezer, spoiled food. I also had them add two external outlets, on a new circuit. The guys who came out, I believe they were Dave and Eric, did a good job. They arrived on time, and performed the work quickly. They were able to figure out some creative ways of getting the circuits run down to the basement. They made sure to lay down a floor covering to protect the the area they would be most often walking across. Oddly, though, they didn't extend that covering down the carpeted stairs, or into the carpeted basement area where they were also walking. Once they were done, they showed me the work, and went on their way. I thought it would be an all-day project, but it turned out to be only a half-day project. After they left, I noticed two issues. One, the door on the service panel was now loose. It wouldn't open or close without falling off. This wasn't a big deal, but it wasn't like that before they came. Second, and a much bigger issue, was that they ran 240v lines for the new circuits in the basement. So, while the sump pump and freezer each had their own circuit, they were run over the same 240v line, which terminated in a double-pole breaker in the service panel. That meant, if the freezer tripped the circuit, the sump pump would die as well, or vice versa. While I had new circuits, I didn't truly have the dedicated lines I was looking for. I contacted Kris and told him what I saw. He immediately understood, and owned up to the mistake. He said there must have been a misunderstanding, and the requirements of the project simply weren't communicated well enough to Dave and Eric. Typically, the method they used would be just fine. It just didn't work for what we were trying to achieve. He had them come out a few days later, and they ran additional lines, with everything terminating on standard, single-pole breakers. They also fixed the loose service panel door while they were out. Having them come out again was a bit of a pain, but I'm happy they were so quick to fix their mistake. Also, there was some confusion around the time they would be showing up. I had setup the follow-up appointment, but it turned out that time wouldn't work for them. Unfortunately, they called the wrong number in trying to communicate this to me. I didn't find out that they wanted to come out earlier until the day they were coming out. They should have had multiple contact numbers for me, so I don't know what happened there. They ended up showing up before I was ready for them, causing me to rush to get things ready.

Well stafford showed up at about 745 in the morning..they were to come at 8 am so they came early which was more than fine. there was 2 gentleman...steve and im not sure what the other guys name was..i dont think i caught it. they were to replace and upgrade 16 outlets inside the house and replace 2 outside outlets and make them weather safe. They also ran wires in my attic for 3 ceiling fans with lights. they got at my home early brought all their tools in, it was raining at the time so they put on little footies on their shoes so they didnt cause a mess when they went in and out of the house. they brought drop cloths and laid them int he work areas..i moved all the bedroom furniture before hand so they had plenty of space to work. we said "hi" and we talked about what work needed to be done so they went right to work, they were quiet and always had a smile on their face. The fellow brought in his boombox to break up quietness and even that was set at a very low volume. one went into the attic for about an hour crawling around in the insulation while the other prep'd wire and started on cutting holes for the fans. they did this little tap thing on the walls to let each other know when to pull wire or when the other was ready. they finished everything in about 5 to 6 hours...they cleaned up everything and left all the carpets spotless. i guess if i was going to complain about anything is that they seem a little shy at first..but we all came around and chatted here and there. we shook hands and that was it. i am very pleased with the work they did and how well everything turned out. even before the work was completed from calling and setting up an appt. to the owner coming to my home to talk to be about the work that was to be done..other companies i contacted just quoted a price. i knew i was going with stafford the second i realized they came to my home to talk to me about the work i wanted done.

It went well overall. I called on a Monday, they gave me a service window for the next day and the next day Glenn came out and solved the issue. Glen was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He explained what he did, and also gave me a little 101 course on electrical circuits.

I received a call the day before our scheduled service. Peggy was very nice and went over what to expect. On our day of service, the electricians were exactly on time (7:30 am). They were both very friendly (just like Kris). We went over the job again and they got to work. By the time I got home from work, they had finished and left. They left a nice note on the kitchen table saying how it went. Our home was exactly how we left it - everything was kept perfectly clean. Now, the best part! They added another outlet in a place I hadn't considered, they tucked away and cleaned up some of the 15 amp existing work, and they went above and beyond to place the external outlet in a place that wouldn't stand out. Essentially, they treated the installation like it were their own home. Very nice! You will not go wrong using Stafford home service - they will definitely be on our short list when we finish our basement.

We were selling our house and the inspection raised some electrical issues. Stafford responded quickly and performed all the inspection items and commented on items they thought could have been noted. Because it was an older home they needed to track down some parts. They did and completed the repairs promptly. As a result, we were able to move the closing up a full 2 weeks. I will definitely call on Stafford for work on our current home.

I called Stafford Home Service regarding a small list of electrical issues we needed taken care of at our house. They quickly set up a time for an electrician to come out and provide an estimate. He arrived on time and was very helpful and informative. I went ahead and scheduled a time for them to come back and do the work. Two electricians arrived to do the work and quickly accomplished our list of tasks. They took extra care to clean up after themselves and make sure everything was left as they found it. All the work was well done and I was kept informed of everything they were doing.

I LOVE Stafford and have used them in the past for HVAC work. When we decided we wanted to mount our TV on the wall, I immediately thought of them. They were completely responsive and had our TV on the wall in a matter of hours. They've always been very respectful of our home. They remove their shoes, cover the work area and clean up completely when they're done. They are the kind of people you want to have in your house and around your children (and pets), which is important to us. Seeing is believing, so check out the photos I've posted.

They were very efficient and knowledgable about what they were doing and explained what they were doing before they started and while they were working on it. We were pleasantly happy that we had made a good choice of the five estimates we had received for the work we wanted done. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again if we needed work done in the future. Nice to be able to say that about a company.
