Kris stopped out at our house and worked around our schedule. He was punctual and professional. He had a lot of good input on what would work well and pointed out items that we would need to bring up to code while we were doing our kitchen remodel project. He quoted a fair price for the work to be done. We didn't end up needing his services due to a family friend being able to help us out with the project.

Inspection went fine, they were here when they said they would be. Wore the covers over their boots, checked everything, answered any and all of my questions. Gave me a detailed proposal but did not try to do any kind of sales job. Overall very good experience.

Confirmed that everything worked. Very clean and efficient job. Jason explained what he was doing and made sure I knew how to work everything before he left. Great experience.

I had bought two replacement lights but the electrician determined i had bought the wrong size and voltage. Ooops. He tried to fix the existing lights but it didn't work so i have to find the correct lights and have them come back to switch out.

I called SHS and was able to set up an appointment for a free estimate right away (appointment set during initial call, to take place within less than a week). Kris came at the appointed time, listened carefully to my goals, made some good suggestions about how to approach the task, and provided an estimate by e-mail within hours. I was very encouraged by my interaction with Kris at this appointment. After receiving estimates from a few other companies, we selected SHS. The prices quoted by all the companies were about the same, but I especially liked the specific plan that Kris had proposed and the fact that he was comfortable talking with me about my plans to install additional branch circuits myself after the subpanel was installed. SHS electrician Steve K arrived within the scheduled time window, calling me with an update on his progress as he finished up an earlier job. Before bringing in any of his gear, he came inside to look at the panel location and to discuss the details of the job. As it turned out, he proposed a slight variation on the original idea that I liked even better. In this discussion, Steve was very clear about which variations would cost more money and which would not, and I did not feel pressured to increase the cost of the job. I also felt like Steve wanted to take time ahead of time to be sure that I would be happy with the approach to be taken. Steve did the work carefully and neatly. At one point, he had to go to a hardware store nearby for a tool needed for the job, and he communicated clearly with me about what was going on. Steve, like Kris, was easy to talk to and did a good job explaining aspects of the work that were of particular interest to me. The final cost of the job was exactly as estimated. The installation is great and I now have the panel space needed to start working on cleaning up some convoluted circuits in our home. I'm very happy with how this project turned out. By the way, I also had occasion to communicate several times with Peggy at the SHS office. She's great, too.

They scheduled a thermostat replacement before the main electrical work because we were having painters come in. They came out , did the work and came back at the main scheduled electrical work. We made a slight change to our kitchen lighting so they finished whatever they could then waited for us to install a new cabinet. We called and scheduled their time and the work was completed very professionally. Very well done. They really are great to work with. We will use them for other things as they come up.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of their office staff and was even more pleased with the electrician who came to do the work. In addition, the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend and I will definitely be using Stafford again!

Very pleasant and capable workman but work was too expensive. Felt gouged.

They came about an hour and a half after I called which was critical because it was very cold and we needed the furnace. The serviceman took off his shoes, explained the alternatives for repairs and did the work rapidly. He took time to explain the basics of operating the unit and it is working well. The price they charged for the thermostat was unreasonably high. Otherwise no complaints.

First, it was really a relief to find a company that could help us with a variety of issues. We spoke to a few electric companies and while they could do the electric work, they would have to bring in subcontractors to do everything else. The service was great and everything turned out perfectly. We also appreciated the friendly and prompt service by the office. So helpful!

EXCELLENT COMPANY! I found Stafford Home Service by doing a quick google search. We had them come out and give us an estimate for installing a new air conditioning system. This was the only estimate we needed. Dan was extremely knowledgeable but not pushy at all. Peggy, who answers the main number, was always polite and organized. Our air conditioning system was installed quickly and professionally. Everything went extremely smooth! In August, during the 100+ degree heat wave we had, the fan in our furnace started make strange noises. I called Stafford's 24/7 line at 8:00am on a Sunday morning (sorry Stafford!). Someone was at our house the very next day to replace the part. We will continue to use this company for any HVAC or electrical needs. It's rare when you find exceptional customer service, quality products, knowledgeable and skillful employees, and affordable prices all at one company. Also, I like how Peggy sends out surveys after each project/work order. It shows that this company really does want to service its customers to the best of their ability. Great job!

Even though our service technician could not repair the humidifier because of its design, Nathan did identify an issue that could have disabled our heating system. Observing the damage myself and being familiar with the function due to my engineering background I determined that his inspection and ultimate repair was incredible. Nathans professionalism reflects greatly on him and Standard Heating and we are sincerely grateful for the value they provided.

I am very happy with the work, employee respect for our home while they were in it and assurance of quality demonstrated by 5 year warranty. I will definitely use Stafford Home Service again in the future.

I always had a quick response from Stafford Home Servicing. The woman who took my calls was knowledgeable and helpful. I first had someone come out to give me a quote on a new furnace and A/C. The person who came out was so helpful and even offered some suggestions about a bath fan that I was having installed later in the week. I had the bath fan installed in my bathroom later that week. They were on-time and professional; the bath fan itself was also good quality. I was very happy with the job. I later had a furnace and air condition put in after mine furnace went out suddenly. They were at my house the day after I called (which was important because I had no heat and it was COLD!) and installed the new Bryan furnace and air conditioner. I was very happy with the work they did and I have been very happy with the end result. They also did all of the work for the rebates and gave me tax information, filed for all the permits, etc. It made my life much easier. I was very happy with the service! Everybody at Stafford that I worked with was professional, they cleaned up after themselves, and were very respectful.

They were prompt, professional, and picked up after themselves. The bid was correct (no hidden charges) and they kept me informed about when power would go out and come back on.

It turned out very well. We have a 100 year old house and I was nervous about our electric. He went through the whole house. He gave me good information about what to do and why. He was very respectful. He also gave us a list of things we could do, but there was no hard sale either. They let us know what they would recommend. I believe that he was here for about an hour. We have also used them since then and we have called them for a few different things.

Dan Fournier was outstanding and we couldn't be happier with the results of all of the work done for us by Stafford. We live in a 1913 house with all its attendant quirks, and Dan worked with us from start to finish, providing sensible, cost-effective suggestions for all of the work we needed done. Their follow-through was outstanding, from the initial bid to the completed rebate forms we needed simply to sign and mail in (in the postage-paid envelopes they provided). We received four bids for the furnace/hot water replacements; Stafford's was last and we had yet to meet with anyone we trusted to do such central/fundamental work to our house, but Dan seemed -- and proved to be -- trustworthy and excellent. Their bid was thorough, and though their price wasn't least expensive, we had no qualms about going with them. We had many questions and exchanged many many emails but Dan patiently answered them all. The installations were all completed when and within the time frame stated. Stafford promises to stand by their work and we had the opportunity to see that this was true, as one of the dusk-to-dawn switches didn't work right and they came right out and replaced it; the duct installed was not quite straight and had tape in the middle though we'd said it would be exposed in the room and Dan thought of an alternative solution which they promptly re-installed; and they did not give up until they resolved an odd pipe sound apparently caused by the furnace and hot water work they did, even to the point of arranging for a trusted plumber to look at the problem who resolved the noise. We've had a lot of work done on our house this year and used Angie's List successfully to find really great providers. But for this series of jobs, it was almost impossible to find the kind of unanimous A's we'd come to expect as the hallmark of excellence, and several of the best reviewed providers don't work in Minneapolis. The problems within the work that we described above are apparently quite common in the kind of work we had done. So it seems especially important to emphasize Stafford's flat-out tenacity to make things absolutely right, which is what makes them above all a company we recommend without reservation and would gladly and enthusiastically use again.

It went very well. Peggy and Kris were very responsive and courteous to deal with during the quote and scheduling stage. Chuck was on time as scheduled and completed the work in an efficient and professional manner. We were very satisfied with Stafford and will use them in the future if we have a need for an electrician.

Excellent work, very nice people, the person who gave me the estimate was very thorough and knowledgeable. The electricians did very good work and cleaned up after themselves. Always on time and I wasn't nickeled dimed when I asked for some modifications, e.g. they had to come back to install the lights that weren't available at the time that the majority of the work was done. One of their electricians assembled a 200 piece chandelier, with remarkable patience and workmanship. Worth every penny I spent on this!!

These people are great. When calling for an appointment I actually talked to a person. They set a date that was compatible with us and arrived on time. Service people were very knowledgable of what had to be done. Overall a very good experience. We will definitely use them again.

Stafford Home Service showed up on time and were very courteous and professional. Two electrical guys who were here all day and one HVAC guy who finished his part late morning. They worked through some unexpected challenges encountered as they dug into the existing wiring and brought up to code some DIY fixes performed by a previous owner. They also worked with us to make slight changes to the original scope of work as we talked through some of the details as went along. They didn't have time to get to some of the additional projects I wanted to add, but that will be another time. I have already scheduled another block of time for them to do some work in our garage and basement.

The service guy was prompt and friendly and they really do go through your whole house and check everything. I have a list of all the problems that were found and I got some estimates to fix the problems.
