Lowe's

Excellent end result. Lowe's contracted out roofing jot to Kingdom Builders for install. Kingdom Builders did an excellent job. Install was completed one week after promised completion date and there were times when they thought the job would have to wait until Spring but they somehow managed to finish by 11/10.

They came out and did a really good job. They took away the old. We use Lowe's quite a bit and we are very pleased with them. In fact, we are having a back door and screen door put in through them. Lowe's is really good. You pay a little more for the price, but you just have that satisfaction of knowing that it's done right. They came out, they installed and did everything good. The first refrigerator we bought kept running loudly; it was annoying. We called them and they had somebody come out and try to fix it. It was still really loud. They just came out and said they were giving us a new refrigerator. There were no questions asked. They brought out a new one and now we don't have any problems with it. They went out and beyond. I had a problem with a dishwasher we bought from them and they came out with no problems and fixed that too. I like the service and quality we get. They are strong believers in customer service so that is why we keep going back. Their responsiveness is good. They call and are here within the time frame. They come early enough. Their punctuality is very good. They are very professional, do the task at hand and ask if there is anything else needed.

They could improve their communication. The best part was, they had a product that would fit my house. I have a town home built in 1989 and the cupboards were built around the refrigerator, so the new refrigerators don't fit my space. So Lowe's was the one that carried the brand that I wanted that would fit into my space that I have in my kitchen. I would use Lowe's, but not that location.

I placed the order and they delivered it the next day, I was amazed. The staff was good and friendly. They came to my home before noon, brought the fridge and installed in and took the old one.

After searching at Lowes and then another store my wife and I purchased a Samsung washer and dryer on the 3rd with a delivery on the 11th. Over time I have redone two kitchens and replaced washers and dryers twice. So when I considered the most recent appliance swap we initially went to Lowes and then found a lower cost option at another local shop. It became readily apparent at the local shop as to why the costs were about $150 cheaper, the service was not up to speed. With Lowes I suppose I have been spoiled with prompt, courteous, and professional service. Upon returning to the Lowes, Julia had remembered exactly what my initial specifications were and got the ball rolling right away. I was extremely impressed with how smooth it all went down; I was in and out in 15 minutes with all the details settled for delivery. This was in stark contrast to the considerable length of time that the service at the alternate store took along with the unnecessary wait. On the 11th we received the delivery, haul away, and install of our new washers and dryer. The two gentlemen were prompt, professional, and did an exceptional job. For reliable service, fair pricing, and exceptional service I would recommend Lowes of C*** Rapids to anyone.

Everything was absolutely fine.

We went into the C*** Rapids store to pick out cellular shades for our home and met with Donna who was very patient and helpful. From start to finish Donna gave us top quality service. We couldn't have done it without her! She sent Wayne out to measure and install for us and he did a fantastic job as well. We're very happy with the whole experience!

So far, so good.

Called Lowe's in C*** Rapids to install a 32x16' deck, fence and gutters. Bob came out on the day specified, sat down and talked to us about the prices, and said he would have to input all the measurements into his computer and would get back to us on a final price, which would be in 1 or 2 days. He claimed that they should be able to get out and complete it in 2- 3 weeks. Needless to say 3 weeks and 5 phone tried later, we still didn't even have a quote. Numerous messages were left, and when Bob finally did call back (4th week later) you can tell he didn't have anything done. He claimed they were busy, which is understandable being that it's springtime. But the quote on the gutters was wrong; we went over gutters for the front/back when he was here, but he included the sides of the house in the price, when we don't need them there. So here we sit, the 5th week later, without a final price and a scheduled start date. We only went with Lowe's because we could finance it all, and the other professional deck companies were backed up for months. Now Lowe's cost us over a month giving us the run around, when all they had to do was be honest from the start. Even a courtesy call saying they haven't forgotten about us would've been nice. Just wondering when Lowe's will even (if ever) try to contact us. But I'd rather give my 20k to a company who wants to do it. Obviously Lowe's has better things to do. Update: Still no work from Lowe's. Called out Arrow Fence. Steve was extremely nice and professional, and their quote for the fence was 900 dollars less than Lowes! They will have it done within 2 weeks. What was I thinking by going with Lowes?!?

The work started in June and wasn't completed until October. When the technician came out to install the flooring, he didn't have the correct materials. I had to drive out to Lowe's to get it and ended up having to drive out three times. They promised to re-imburse me for that, but never did. The job wasn't done properly, and I've been dealing with them for three months in order to get everything done the right way.

It went very well. I talked with Barb at Lowe's in the Window Covering Department. She worked with me to find what I needed for our home. I chose Bali Faux wood blinds for the windows and vertical fabric vertical blinds for the patio doors. Barb came out to measure for all the blinds. She was very prompt and courteous. Lowe's offered a special price for installing all the blinds and the person who installed all the blinds was prompt, efficient and very skilled in installing all of the blinds. When there was a little issue on the width of one of the patio vertical blinds(it was a challenging measurement to make the first time due to it being a bay style installation, Barb came out, remeasured and ordered a replacement rod and additional vanes. We were very pleased with Barb's and Lowe's service.

Prices were excellent - we came in several times to shop, ask questions and get estimates. Everyone was very helpful. We had Lowes install as well. The treatments all arrived at my house via Fed Ex...except for one. One was lost and Fed Ex could not find it. Lowes just ordered another one and didn't leave me in a bind. It was great service and they took care of everything with Fed Ex and I was not charged for the missing treatment. The installer did the job quickly and left no mess. All in all a good experience.

The salesperson was extremely helpful and ordered our kitchen faucet. It's more than the one in the store due to the special color, but we wouldn't know about the other color if they had not informed us. It was great.

The service that this company offered was satisfactory. The delivery took longer than expected. We thought it would be a couple of days but took about a week. The installation went very smoothly.

For online order and delivery, delivery people were great - friendly and fast. Delivery was only $35. Online pickup was easy. They fix problems. The specs and instructions were wrong for a toilet (since the sewage line was set for it), and the manager gave me a refund and arranged for me to get another one with matching specs through a competitor. They have great prices and a good selection.

The installation took two weeks longer than it was supposed to. The installer arrived on time when the appointment was scheduled, and they were friendly and polite. They accidentally opened the water valve on the broken unit flooding the laundry room, but the floor is cement so it wasn't a huge deal. After removing the old unit I was told that upgrading the out of code shut-off valve was going to be an extra $150 on top of the $300 installation fee I'd already paid. I paid the installer since I had no hot water until he finished. I called up Lowe's and tried to work out the issue with them regarding the extra cost. The sales people at Lowe's had assured me twice that there would be no additional cost for replacing the valve. I spent at least two months with the Lowe's installation people trying to work out a resolution. Eventually got half of the $150 back, but it was a ton more work than it should have been. I'd never recommend anyone use their services after my experience.

The design process was fine. The installation process was one of the worst things I've ever experienced. There was no follow-up on their part at any time, the installer did a poor job on portions of the install, people did not return calls timely (or were conveniently at lunch or with a customer when I called), and it took SIX MONTHS to get the final portions done--and that happened only because I threatened to contact executive management if it wasn't completed by the end of that week. I have supposedly been credited for a piece that wasn't used and was removed by the installer, and I have been told twice that I would get a receipt for the credit. Eleven days after being told that for the second time, I still haven't received the receipt. The installed sales department is, in my estimation, totally incompetent!

THEY FOLLOWED UP WELL WITH REQUESTS THAT HAD COME UP.

THIS IS A GREAT STORE! IT'S ATMOSPHERE IS MUCH MORE CLEAN AND USER FRIENDLY THAN OTHER STORES AND THEY HAVE A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT SELECTION TOO. MORE UPSCALE ITEMS. NICE!
