We knew we needed a new roof, however, the cost of getting a new one made it impossible. One day Chaz from Advantage Construction knocked on our door and informed us that our roof was actually an old "defective" type of shingle and that we could possibly qualify for a new roof. He met with our insurance agent the next afternoon and within an hour everything was taken care of. All we would have to do was pay our deductible and pick out our new shingles. Chaz kept in contact and even scheduled the new roof to be put on on a Saturday, since I do home daycare and the loud noise would scare the kids. Everything was handled so friendly and professionally, always answering my questions and concerns. Chaz explained everything and I learned so much through this whole process! He also informed us about a refund from the shingle company for the "defective" shingles, and handled all the paperwork for that too! Everything couldn't have been handled any better, we will definitely use Advantage Construction again!

Well first off we had Organic shingles and we been fighting with the insurance company for the last 3 years and had how many other local construction companies come out to help and the two other ones was a waste of time. The first one never tried to get back to us and the second one said " ill try to help you guys but insurance companies won't pay out for organic shingles ". Then our insurance company gave us 30 days to replace the roof or they will cancel our policy. Well of course we didn't have thousands of dollars to replace it in 30 days. So we got a new insurance company and only had for a few months and still had this roof that was falling apart cause they where organic shingles. Then in the early fall there was a guy driving around from Advantage construction inc truck and this guy gets out of his truck and I just wanted to close the garage door cause I was tired of these construction guys, they can't even help us. So he came up the driveway and was talking to me about my roof and I was surprise cause when I told them about the organic he was all in it to try to help after I told him all about our nightmare. I called him back after a few days and talked with Chaz Bakke from Advantage Construction Inc that he is the project Manager that came out to my house. He was at our house when my insurance company came out to inspected our roof and he came 2 hours earlier marking the roof and was dealing with him after a few minutes he gave me the GREAT NEWS that the insurance is paying for it. I couldn't believe it......finally after 3 years we getting our roof replace. Chaz was making sure he was always checking in and telling me how the progress was when we where waiting for the mortgage company with the claim check to sign it over. Chaz was outstanding and when his team came out they where very respectful and Very Clean and fast and had our roof repace in just 1 day.... and explaining what they where doing and why. Our new roof looks incredible good.....they did not take any short cuts and later that evening everything was cleaned up even the dumpster. I couldn't have been more happy with his service and his team. I highly would recommend Advantage Construction Inc and ask for Chaz Bakke the Project Manager for roofing and siding or gutters.

Chaz has the ability to be both professional and very personal. This was a very stressful and difficult time for us and it really helped knowing we could count on Chaz for answers and information. His warm personality put our minds at ease. He worked extremely well with the insurance adjuster. They made a great team. We never felt like we were pestering or bothering Chaz with our many phone calls asking lots of questions. He was always there for us. It is not always easy to put your trust in someone you have never met, but it wasn't long and we knew we were in good hands. Chaz demonstrated honesty and integrity throughout the process. It surprised us when we heard he had been doing this line of work just a short period of time. We thought he had been doing this for a longer period of time. The roofing team that did the work were awesome! They worked very hard and by the time they were done, a person would never know they were there, except for the beautiful new roof. They picked up the mess and we were very satisfied with their hard work, fine manners and the awesome finished project. Our neighbor also needed a new roof and we did not hesitate recommending Advantage Construction, especially Chaz. We were very satisfied with the whole process and extremely happy with the finished new roof!

I went into the process very skeptical, but it turned out very well. I've had some negative experiences with contractors in the past and I went into this process fearing the worst, but the entire process went as planned. My sales rep was Roy Peterson, he helped my wife and I through the process and made it easy for us. The first step was submitting the insurance claim and having an adjuster stop out from the insurance company. Roy told me what to expect and even stopped out to meet the adjuster at our house and show him our damaged areas. He even helped with all the insurance invoicing so there wouldn't be any surprises. The second step was completing the job itself. My biggest concern was being unable to be at the job due to a last minute scheduling conflict on my end, which meant it was just my wife at home while the work was being completed. By the time I got home, the work had already been done. Roy was also there during the day to make sure the job went smoothly. After I got home, I walked the perimeter of my house looking for nails and I wasn't able to find any, which means they did a good job cleaning up after completing the work. The roof looks great and really improved the appearance of our home. I would highly recommend Roy Peterson and Advantage Construction. Matt Engelmann Rogers, MN
