The initial steps towards starting the work to be done was great. Chaz Bekke was very helpful in explaining the process ahead. He was easy to contact through phone calls and texting from beginning to end. I had many questions and he was always patient, even when I changed my color choices a few times. When the re-roofing job started the crew was fast, efficient, and polite. They did an amazing job and the roof looks great. Their cleanup efforts were just as commendable, and Chaz came by and did another sweep for nails in the grass. With children about that was important to me.
Once my choices were made, and the siding arrived, the work commenced. That crew was also great, arrived early, worked steady all day and did an incredible job, right down to the details. My house has been transformed and updated. I love it. So many compliments from friends, family and neighbors. People slow down and gawk as they drive by. The whole experience was stress free thanks to the guys at Advantage Construction, and especially Chaz. I am so glad I chose the right company and will not hesitate to hire them again.
Right from the introduction, project manager Matt Heisick and his associates were straight forward, honest and knowledgeable. I purposely did not sign with anyone to get my work done immediately after the storm because there were so many "local" contractors (that I had never heard of before) running around the neighborhood knocking on doors and pressuring neighbors to sign with them that it was confusing and you didn't know which way to turn or who to trust. I almost signed with one of them, but when I told them I wanted to think it over, they said they didn't have time for me to do that. That's when I decided to wait and get some referrals first.
When Matt stopped by, he was forthcoming with a list of referrals in our area and right in my neighborhood. He was patient while I took time to call many of them and ask about the work Advantage Construction did, whether they were satisfied and would they hire them again. Simply put, all willingly said YES.
While explaining the contract, Matt and the company owner sat down with my wife and I and explained everything in detail AND in very simple terms that made us feel very comfortable about signing their contract. They worked with our insurance company, State Farm, so that we didn't have to worry about any of that. It looked to me like Advantage Construction had a very good working relationship with the insurance company. I felt good about that, and even the smallest details were negotiated in our favor.
The roofing crew was impeccable! They were efficient and did awesome work, even painting an existing flue pipe to match the new vents that were installed. They were friendly and did a great job cleaning up (Matt even helped!). Follow-up, communication and answers to our questions and concerns were always prompt and always with our satisfaction in mind.
When it came to the billing they were patient, as I had to get multiple checks endorsed by CitiMortgage. And the best part, at the final invoice... there were NO SURPRISES. It was exactly as we had discussed and agreed upon!
So ask me if I am satisfied with Advantage Construction and would I hire them again? Simply put, YES!

We knew we needed a new roof, however, the cost of getting a new one made it impossible. One day Chaz from Advantage Construction knocked on our door and informed us that our roof was actually an old "defective" type of shingle and that we could possibly qualify for a new roof. He met with our insurance agent the next afternoon and within an hour everything was taken care of. All we would have to do was pay our deductible and pick out our new shingles. Chaz kept in contact and even scheduled the new roof to be put on on a Saturday, since I do home daycare and the loud noise would scare the kids. Everything was handled so friendly and professionally, always answering my questions and concerns. Chaz explained everything and I learned so much through this whole process! He also informed us about a refund from the shingle company for the "defective" shingles, and handled all the paperwork for that too! Everything couldn't have been handled any better, we will definitely use Advantage Construction again!
We never felt like we were pestering or bothering Chaz with our many phone calls asking lots of questions. He was always there for us. It is not always easy to put your trust in someone you have never met, but it wasn't long and we knew we were in good hands. Chaz demonstrated honesty and integrity throughout the process.
It surprised us when we heard he had been doing this line of work just a short period of time. We thought he had been doing this for a longer period of time.
The roofing team that did the work were awesome! They worked very hard and by the time they were done, a person would never know they were there, except for the beautiful new roof. They picked up the mess and we were very satisfied with their hard work, fine manners and the awesome finished project.
Our neighbor also needed a new roof and we did not hesitate recommending Advantage Construction, especially Chaz.
We were very satisfied with the whole process and extremely happy with the finished new roof!
