"Logan and Jeff came out immediately the next day and did a great job of not only removing large branches and fallen tree debris, but they also had to cut more of my willow tree down due to having split and would be unsafe in future wind storms. We also talked about doing future work in my yard. Will definitely hire them again. Again, thank you both for helping me with this project. 😃"

Hi, my name is Bobby Lynn. I’ve been doing handyman service for 20+ years in those years. I’ve done a lot of carpentry, cabinetry remodel, jobs, electrical and plumbing.\n\nI work out of central northwest of the cities and will travel to the cities, which is only 35 minutes away from home to do work\n\nA few of my favorite skills are remodeling, bathrooms, and kitchens and I’m very knowledgeable in putting furniture, toilets, light fixtures, blinds, sinks, garbage, disposals, etc. office furniture\n\nI’m a reasonable on time individual that starts a job from start to finish if there is something I don’t know how to do. I will not do the job. I will refer you to one of my references that has the qualifications for your job.\n\nThank you, Bobby Lynn/Bobby’s Home solutions LLC\n\n\n

Handyman Services questions, answered by experts

A handyperson is the professional term used to describe professional fixers who can tackle a wide range of general home repairs. Some pros may prefer to use the term handyworker, handyman, or handywoman, so we recommend politely asking your pro how they would like you to identify them during the project.

Aside from a professional light installation company, there are a few other pros who may be able to help you hang Christmas lights. Along with specialty holiday decorators, a handyperson near you can also hang Christmas lights (and can fix that pesky drippy sink while they’re at it). Either way, not all of these pros will offer the service, so be sure to call ahead and get multiple quotes before you hire.

While a handyperson will do the odd small job for your home, a maintenance person is responsible for conducting regular inspections and repairs. Maintenance people may come in to do small fixes and diagnose any issues you might be facing, but may not have all the same technical abilities as a handyperson.

Hiring a handyperson offers several benefits. They can save you time and hassle by completing tasks you may not have the time or experience to do yourself. A key advantage is ensuring the project is done correctly, which can prevent future issues and save money in the long run. For projects that pose safety risks, hiring an experienced professional is a much safer option. Additionally, handypeople are often more available for smaller jobs that larger contractors may not have the schedule for.

A contractor specializes in a specific field. They often operate in teams where they have subcontractors to handle specialized problems. So if you have significant plumbing, drywall, or roofing issues, you’ll want to hire a contractor, as the job may require a team.

A handyperson is typically one person who works on whatever jobs come their way. You wouldn’t call a contractor to fix the hinges on cabinets or paint your room. Instead, a handyperson can handle all these issues, saving you from making multiple phone calls.
