Everything went as scheduled. They showed up and gave me an estimate. They were very professional. They did a good clean up job. I was satisfied with the overall quality of the work.

Mark Ramirez and his assistant, Brian, arrived at 9:30 A.M. as promised and began work on our home electrical project. We were operating our home on a 100 amp electrical system and every single slot in the existing circuit breaker panel was used and then some. Several breakers in the panel were overloaded with at least two circuits connected to one breaker. We had auxiliary boxes installed in the past to augment the panel but it wasn't enough to handle the loads. Figured we were cruising for a fire at some point so decided to upgrade to 200 amp service with the appropriate panel to handle the load and extra slots to allow us more room for any future expansion we might need. We also decided to have a transfer switch system installed to accommodate a portable generator if the need should arise. We currently have a gas range but my wife insists that its seen its day and is ordering a new dual fuel range requiring the installation of a 50 amp circuit with receptacle, which was installed. The garage was already electrified with a primary 220 volt system with fuse box and off-shooting 120 volt circuits. The existing panel contained only fuses and was inadequate for the role...... again too many circuits on too few fuses in the box. Therefore, we had Mark install and connect a new service panel with appropriate circuit breakers and extra slots for future expansion, as in the house. The job that Mark and Brian did was not only exemplary, it was simply amazing to watch. They went out of their way to ensure the job was not only done right but was done neatly. I don't know how Mark does it but he's got more energy than any three young men. Both the guys worked essentially non-stop from 9:30 A.M. until about 6:30 P.M. and made sure that the new service panels and all circuits were functioning properly and labeled. All I can say after spending the day watching and learning is that Mark and Brian were simply terrific. All my questions were answered cheerfully, clearly and without hesitation. My wife and I would recommend them, wholeheartedly to anyone needing any type of residential electrical work performed.

The outlet in my bathroom became unreliable, sometimes working and sometimes not, so I called Ramirez Electric to fix it. I knew it was a small job and maybe not worth the trip, but his wife, who is his receptionist, checked with him and called me back pretty quickly. Fortunately, he and his helper were able to stop on their way back from another job the very next day and they got my problem cleared up in short order. Mark also gave me an estimate on putting in some extra outlets in other rooms which I haven't decided whether to do or not. The job got done quickly and at a reasonable price by a very nice professional electrician and I would definitely hire him again.

I called to set up an estimate, and I was told that the contractor responsible for the install was out of town on vacation, and he would return my call on Monday of the following week. He called just as promised to set up an estimate. He showed up ahead of schedule and was very professional. He offered some advice on the location of the fan, as well as the need to purcahse a longer down rod (I had already purchased the fan). I was originally told over the phone that a typical install for a new ceiling fan is $250. When he came for the estimate, I mentioned Angie's List (as it says they give a discount), and I was quoted $290. I was told that he would need to rent a taller ladder to install in our ceiling (it is 17' tall). While I understand this extra cost to them, I originally told them over the phone it was a 17' ceiling. So this extra cost to me is the cause of the 'B' rating. I don't see why the company would not have the equipment required to do the job. I scheduled the install, and they showed up right on time. During the install, it was determined that due to the size of the fan, the original location would place the fan too near the railing of our loft area upstairs. They worked with us to determine the best location of the fan. It is not where I would like it, but given the size of the fan and layout of the house, there is not really much anyone could do about it. They finished the install very timely and cleaned up after themselves, including vacuuming. That evening it was discovered that one of the light switches (on a different circuit) adjacent to the new switch box that they installed had an issue. The breaker kept tripping, most likely due to a loose wire. After contacting them, they came out to fix the problem during the first time that would allow in our schedule. They were in and out in a few minutes with the issue corrected. They installed a new 3-way switch at no cost. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality fo the work and how professional and courteous they were. The only down side was the slight cost issue and the minor fix they immediately corrected. Highly recommended.

I successfully installed the ceiling fixture (yes it turns on), and I am very happy that I decided to call Ramirez Electric. Mark is honest and professional. I wish there was an option to rank as "A+". I would recommend him to anyone.

Mark arrived on time for the estimate, and was very helpful in examining the wiring situation in our older home and determining what could be done for a reasonble amount of money. (My husband was very impressed with the cost) The work was very promptly and professionally done, and the clean-up was very thorough.

I was having new light switches put in on basement landing after basement area had to be renovated due to water damage. We were unable to get switches to work. Portion of the house was without power. Contacted Ramirez Electric through Angies List. Work was done in 40 minutes without any problems. Was very pleased with the service.

WE SET UP AN APPT. FOR HIM TO DO THE WORK . HE CAME OVER AS SCHEDULED PERFORMED THE WORK AS QUOTED, AND CAME BACK ONE FINAL TIME TO START UP AND TEST THE GEN. AND WIRING. EVERYTHING WORKED AS PLANNED.

The original fan was incorrectly wired to the wall switch and he had to search in the basement for the correct junction box in order to get the fan to work. He also replaced the wall switch for the fan. I had asked for two GFCI outlets to be replaced in the kitchen to bring it up to code, but turns out only one was needed.

Quick and clean.

They were on time for both the estimate appointment and on actual work day. On the work day they called to change the start time by 1/2 hour but did start work at the adjusted time. They were very professional, did their work, cleaned up and were done in a little over 2 hours. They even took the time to explain how the changes were made in the electrical circuits. I would use their services again.

Ramirez showed up, traced the problem, including climbing down into the crawl space, located a loose wire and fixed in about an hour.

Ramirez's work was excellent. He was much better than I expected. I did the research on the company and after I used him. I am impressed that I found an electrician who does a good job and is honest about it.

I hired the contractor and paid for the work. The work done is an early Christmas present for my daughter. Ramirez has done work at my home several times over the years and I have always been very satisfied. So I contacted Ramirez for the work at my daughter's home, because I had used the company before for work at my home, and they were always easy to work with. In this case, I first talked with them about two weeks ago for a ball-park quote by phone, and we agreed on a price and time for installation. They came today and did the work in about two hours. The outlets were installed in an unfinished basement with conduit down the wall and surface boxes. The work was done professionally and they cleaned up upon completion. In all, I was satisfied with the work.
