Very Good. Came quickly, job quickly and price was reasonable.

We had Ramirez out to install electrical service to our garage and they were on time, responsive, gave us a good price and did the work for the quoted amount. The price listed included 7 outlets, 4 light fixtures, digging the trench from the house to the garage, adding the circuit to the electrical service and installing a 3-way switch so we could turn on the exterior lights from either the garage or the house.

They were great. Very affordable. They did amazing work. Cleaned up everything. Very happy with them and the work done with the best price in downriver area.

When mark came out to install the smoke alarms I assumed the smoke alarms worked. A few weeks back all the smoke alarms went off. in the middle of the night.  I called 911 and the firefighters came out. The fire fighters could find nothing wrong, and the fire department  said to call Ramirez to check the smoke alarms and see if there is faulty wiring or if they were installed properly.  In another incident,  I also was cleaning my self cleaning oven and smoke began filling the house.. The smoke alarms didn't go off. I called Rameriz and he refused to come out. I called numerous times and even spoke with his wife.  But mark never came out nor did he return my calls, and either did his wife.  I called the city for help because Rameriz had pulled  a permit for this work. The city also called and couldn't get him to come out either. They called Rameriz and told him to come out to check the smoke alarms, but mark never responded, the city even left a message with his wife, and still he never responded.  The city also call mark to find out who the manufacture was on the smoke alarm and left a message with his wife, so maybe I could call the manufacture to see if mark did something wrong when he installed the smoke alarms, but again he never responded.   I would not be surprised at all if he never even put down on his records who the manufacture was because I did not have it on my paper work.  He. also did all the wiring upstairs and the lights in the bathroom continually flickers.  I has been three weeks since I have called him and still neither  him nor his wife ever responded to the call.  This is a safety hazard, but apparently mark dose not see this as such.  He ignored my calls, the city's calls, and did not even abide by the fire department.  I think he is a VERY BAD,  irresponsible electrician and will never again allow him in my home.  I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a good electrician.  He is also very difficult to work with and vey temperamental.  HE DOES NOT STAND BY HIS WORK

He is wonderful. He shows up on time, he is excellent. I highly recommend him. I would use him again myself.

Electrician had to go up in the attic ( unfinished ) . Access point was in a very tight working location.  It took 1 hr to complete .
 I called other companies first before signing up for Angie's list and no other company was willing to work in an unfinished attic.

They are a local company. They have done a couple of things for us over the last couple of years. The job was fine. He was good. He was very friendly and nice. He was on time. The price didn't seem outrageous; it was fine and reasonable.

Ramirez Electric had done some work for us a year ago.  As noted in our previous review, we were very satisfied.  We were surprised by the experience we had this time. We were fine with the original price we were given for the work, $900 plus $86 for the permit.  When they arrived we were told it would be an extra $100 because more line was needed.  We were fine with that.  And the work seemed to be done well.  The men who work for Mark Ramirez seem friendly and hard working. 
Right from the beginning we made it clear to Mark Ramirez that we wanted everything up to code.  He assured us that it would be and was up to code.  However, when the city inspector came it was a different story.  There was to have been an outlet within 20 feet of the air conditioning unit.  I didn't think this was going to be a big deal, but when I called Ramirez Electric I was informed that it would coat us an additional $125.00.  I was stunned.  We had been led to believe that we were paying for an electrical job that was up to code.  We had even paid an extra $100.00 already, without complaint.  Mrs. Ramirez called back the next day and said they could lower the cost to $95.00.  I explained to her that we had been told that our electric work would be up to code for the price we paid already.  Also, we couldn't afford to give them any more money.  I planned to call the city, but thought I should call Jayco Heating, our heating and cooling contractor, first and let him know what was going on.  Jay Tackett, the owner, told me not to worry, and he would take care of it.  In the meantime we were surprised to receive a call from Mark Ramirez.  I explained to him calmly why we felt that we didn't owe him extra money to bring our electric work up to code.  I had to stop twice and ask him why he was hollering at me, when it was our home that had the problem and I hadn't raised my voice.  His attitude was unbelievable!  He was also rude to my husband. We had not only given him a good review in the past, but hired him twice.  He treats us this way over a $40.00 part!  We would never hire him again.
In the end Jay Tackett, owner of Jayco Comfort Systems, paid Ramirez himself to bring the work up to code.

Ramirez Electric Inc was excellent. When I email him his wife gets right back with us within the day. He calls and asks us what the problem is and he's out the next day. He is very nice. Another time he came out he completely ran new wiring in the kitchen ceiling.

They were very professional and friendly. I am very happy with the work they did.

Mark and his assistant did a wonderful job, we couldn't be happier with the results.

A very professional crew of guys, including Mr. Ramirez. it took 1 full day and part of the next.

Ramirez Electric was the third company I received an estimate from and I'm glad I did. The first two companies would not cut tile in my kitchen to install plugs for fear of damaging the tile.  One suggested that I get a power strip and drill a hole into my kitchen cabinets to install additional plugs. I needed more plugs in the kitchen and had just about given up on getting someone to install plugs by cutting the ceramic tile. When Mark Ramirez arrived for the estimate I explained what I wanted and he said he could install the plugs by cutting the ceramic tile. I was over joyed to say the least.  And while Mark was here for the estimate I showed him a plug that needed repaired and I felt it was unsafe. Mark repaired the plug on the spot and when I asked him what I owed him he said no charge which was very nice of him. I was sent the estimate by email from his wife Carol and it was accepted and we were put on the schedule for the work to be done. Mark and two other employees arrived on time the morning of the scheduled work and began work right away. I was impressed by the way they all worked together and how hard they worked. Also I need to say that Mark was very careful not to crack my tile and did a great job. I talked with Mark about adding some additional plugs and moving my garbage disposal switch. Mark looked at the garbage disposal and said yes it could be done and again I was very happy. I really could not be happier with Ramirez Electrics work. They were neat, efficient, very polite, respectful and cleaned up. I was happy with the cost and the quality of the work performed. Everything went so well and I received a 10% discount. I will hire Ramirez Electric again and have told friends and neighbors how happy we were with their work.

Mark and his crew presented as professionals with a good regard for our needs and did their best to minimize interruption to our busy schedule.  The ballast in one of the light fixtures failed over the holidays and Mark Ramirez, the owner came out the next day and replaced the bad ballast at no charge.    I would highly recommend Ramirez Electric for your electrical needs.

Everthing went just as we discussed when Mr. Ramirez came out for the estimate. No issues or any concerns left hanging.

I had a LOT of electrical work that the city was demanding to get my certificate of occupancy.  Ramirez arrived on time, with a crew of about 4 or 5 and had everything wrapped up within about 3 hours.  The final city inspection was today and we passed.  I would use this company again.  He even gave me a discount for being an Angie's list member.

I thought they were very honest and thorough.  They cleaned up very well and asked for my broom to make sure they got everything.  They were very helpful with answering any questions I had.
