"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

Once you know where your bleed valves are and how to use them, bleeding out heaters is a quick process. Expect it to take around 10 to 20 minutes, possibly longer if you have a lot of heaters or are still learning how they work. If you have a central bleed valve on your boiler, the process still takes the same amount of time. Make sure you have any keys necessary to turn the bleed valves on. Without bleed valves, the process should take around three hours.

If your radiator turns on every time you turn on your hot water, your problem is likely your motorized three-port valve that’s attached to your boiler. When it malfunctions, the valve isn’t closing properly, so the water begins to flow to your radiator, thus kicking off the heat. To fix this, hire a boiler repair tech near you to replace your valve.

Although boilers can last 15 to 20 years when maintained properly, you may run into some common problems like oil burners and transformers malfunctioning; cracks in the heat exchanger; clogs in the heating oil pump, burner nozzles, or fuel pipes; loose wiring connections; and damaged valves. Many of these problems can be caught early on during annual maintenance services. You might also have an issue with your fuel source if you have a gas or oil boiler.
