Very bad company. They went to the wrong apartment and violently rang the buzzer for 10 minutes. Maybe next time double check the address so you don’t wake people up.

They did a super job. They were just absolutely wonderful; very caring, very knowledgeable, very emphatic, just nice people.

They were wonderful. Two people came out. The carpets looked very good when they were done. I would absolutely use them in the future.

They were onetime, the carpets were cleaned and they tried to up sell me and do my furniture as well. I thought everything went well until many hours later the carpets were still soaked and my house started to smell so musty that my children had to go spend the night at their grandparents because it was so bad. I called the next morning and they gave the owner my number he did call me back and said he would come out to checkout the problem. I told him how I was extremely concerned because the carpets were still wet, I had fans on them all night long and under the carpet I have nice wood floors that could possibly be damaged. He said he would be out to look at it. He never showed up. I called the receptionist said she would call him. He ended up coming out a few days later, by then the carpets dried and I had sprayed to get the oder out of my house, he said he was sorry about not coming out before that his phone died and he couldn't call me or the office to get my address. Then gave me his card and said I he would give me 25% off my next cleaning. He also said another person called regarding the same issue that day and they discovered there was something wrong with the machine on the truck.
No I will not use them again, simply because they didn't follow thru in a timely manner regarding the problem. I feel I should have gotten my money back.

It was a good service. The last time I used them, they changed ownership. Their prices are much more reasonable. Previously, I had been using them for five years. They did a thorough job. Their price with the new ownership came down to a much more reasonable amount. Before last time, it would cost me $300.

I called Plymouth Carpet Service because they are near my house and looked like an independent business, not a franchise, which I prefer to use if they do good work. I hadn't used them before and hadn't yet had my carpeting cleaned in our current house (moved to Plymouth several years ago). Based on my research, major carpeting manufacturers recommend the hot water extraction cleaning system to clean carpeting (as opposed to some other methods that leave a residue). I asked the person who answered the phone what system they use and she indicated they use a Rotovac system which is the "latest technology" in hot water extraction carpeting cleaning. It uses a rotating head instead of the traditional head (you can see a demonstraction at rotovac.com). I was skeptical, but did a little more web research and was convinced that the Rotovac system would be better at cleaning. I know I sound like a Rotovac salesperson, but I'm not. And I am skeptical about "new methods." I decided to take a chance on Plymouth Carpet because they didn't have a negative review on Angie's List (only two though) and was convinced the Rotovac system would get the carpeting cleaner.
In summary, I was very pleased. The tech (Randy) showed up on time and explained the procedure he would use (brush-in pre-treatment, clean with Rotovac, deodorize, and final brush). He explained the chemicals are non-toxic to my pets. I have no way of knowing whether that is true or not, but there were no strong odors after the cleaning was done - I liked that. So it went well and the carpets were cleaned well. It took about 2 hours from the time he arrived until he left. He didn't rush. I would recommend them.
One caveat is that there was only one tech so he couldn't move heavy stuff and the moderately heavy furniture he had to drag (so I helped him move the stuff I hadn't already moved before he got there). Though he could get under the bed and some of the other furniture with a separate traditional attachment (not the Rotovac). I'm not sure whether or not you can ask for another person to come with the main guy so furniture can be moved. If that is necessary, I'd ask before having them come out. I wasn't worried because I was around and could help. They never asked if I would need furniture moved. If they had asked and had that option, the whole experience would have been near perfect.

I have been using this company for eight years. They are very thorough and really get the carpet clean. The company is responsive and punctual. I think they really conduct themselves in a professional manner. They don't try to push a lot of extra services.

The service was good. The building that they work out of is very small and not a large facility but they provided quality work.

The man who came out to clean my carpets was very pleasant and personable. They did a good job and I would use them again.
