HOME DEPOT

This is only directed at the tool and service rental area. Youngish man (guessing from voice) working there, answering the phone, is very, very unpleasant. Needed to rent a tool, wouldn't go to computer to see when it was supposed to be returned- even after calling multiple times to SEE if it had been returned. We are going to a different location. Very sad, as there are some great workers there. Generously giving 2 stars since he answered the phone. ?

The salesman came and made a great sales pitch which persuaded me to go with this company. The worst mistake I ever made! Firstly the contractor calls on the same day ,half an hour later than when they were supposed to arrive to do the siding and inform me that they were delayed on the current job and would be at our house the next day. The crew when they came to work, left all their cigarette butts and drink cans all over my lawn. I had to tell them to clean up after themselves. Then they made a mistake of exposing a small area of my wall to the elements . It hailed and rained a lot and water entered my house through my walls flooding my first floor and leaking into my basement. They were very apologetic, and the contractor came over and promised me a set of free shutters for my house( approximate cost 40$ ) which I was prepared to pay for myself. The sub contractor finished the job of putting up the siding and said when I get the shutters he would be back to install them. A month later I am still waiting for my shutters. I call the contractor, no reply. 2 months later , no shutters and I still have the extra materials sitting in my driveway .No one has come to pick them up. I Call the salesman who sold me this deal, send him an email, no reply. I finally call the corporate office in Atlanta and speak to someone called Tiffany who seems shocked to hear of my ordeal and asks if the contractor came to see the final product. She seemed surprised that he had not. I tell her that I am so upset with Home Depot. I decided that I no longer wanted their free shutters. All I wanted was that someone come and pick up their excess materials from my driveway. She told me that I would be hearing from the management within 24 hrs. Someone came and picked up the materials 2 days later. To date, I have not heard from anyone in Home Depot. They REALLY DO NOT CARE. Work is still going on in my house as a result of the flooding , 3 months after the fact. I will never use Home Depot again. The amount of mental anguish that I had to go through during this process is unbelievable. I never expected this from a big company like Home Depot.

Robert came out and spent a good deal of time asking us what we wanted. We told him everything we could think of...basically we needed a new roof and insulation. He told us about the home depot warranty and how it's a great company and will stand behind their work. We did not use them because they subcontract their work and we wanted to give a family owned business the work.

It was a special order, a paneled wooden door, and they did a good job. They took down the old ones, hauled them away and put in the new doors. We were pleased with the product and the service. We had no issues at all.

We put the roof on an eleven-year old house. I needed to get the roof on before the winter. The work was performed by a subcontractor. The estimate, installation and post-work walkthrough were great. The crew was great. The main reason I chose them was because I could use my Home Depot card and do a 12-month no-interest financing. The other reason we went that way was I wanted the reputation of a large company behind the product and installation.

They came out to look at it, and we went to the store to pick out the door that we wanted. The technician was great, but they sent a few wrong parts and neglected to send some other necessary parts. They also charged an extra $75.00 because my door was a non-standard size, which they did not quote earlier even though they had measured my door already. We saw things like that repeat itself throughout the job. The work itself was beautiful, but all the difficulties made it an unpleasant experience.

The salesperson approached me to offer assistance. He was very helpful in locating the items and making the best choice for my needs. I did not receive a sale price for the two items. I chose the location as they are close to my home. Typically, there are a number of employees to offer help in the different areas of the store.

I felt Home Depot took very good care of me and my needs. They were very knowledgeable about their products and caring that I got the exact appliance I needed.

THE WORKERS AT HOME DEPOT WERE JUST GREAT. THEY CAME AND DID THE JOB THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO. THE WORK WAS WONDERFUL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

THEY CAME OUT ON TIME AND MOVED VERY QUICKLY. THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN NO TIME AT ALL. THEY HAD MY GARAGE DOOR HUNG THE SAME DAY THAT I PURCHASED IT. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR SERVICE.
