Anderson has sold his business to one of his mechanics. They are now located on Northville Road and called Axles. Same great service as the guy running the shop was the same one who did all my repairs for Anderson. Great service. Great price. Great time. I hope he keeps up the Anderson spirit...so far he is off to a fantastic start!

I noticed that my ABS light came on in my truck, and additionally the engine sounded really loud. I called Anderson to see when they could take a look at it. The guy that took my phone call (owner), was not the most professional. He wasn't rude, just not trying to BS me, he kept it real. We discussed a time, and i dropped the car off. His guys not only fixed the issues that i had within a few days (had to wait for parts to come), but they also fixed an additional issue i was having with the shift nob, free of charge. Also they eplained, in detail, all fixes that were done. Even though you could get more professionalism from a big name auto shop, at Anderson, you well get people that tell it like it is, don't try to sell you what you dont need, and give you a great deal. It felt like a neighbor fixing my car, with the skills of a master mechanic.

Anderson's is the most honest mechanic you'll ever meet. They truly look out for their customers. I have a 2006 CTS-V and parts tend to be hard to find and expensive. They always do their very best to find the best quality parts at the most reasonable prices. One of the engine mounts was broken so I asked whether I should just have both replaced. While a lot of places would've said yes, Bob Anderson explained to me why the one needed to be replaced and why the other one didn't. That saved me about $200. I also had a problem with the driveshaft. The center carrier bearing is going bad. However Cadillac does not produce just the bearing so I need to replace the entire driveshaft. Bob was honest and said it'll eventually need to be replaced, but it can wait until I start hearing a vibration. In the mean time, he recommended trying to find a replacement for the center carrier bearing. If I could find one, the repair would be substantially less. He also gave me contact information for places that produce re-built driveshafts. Most places wouldn't go that extra mile to try to find a more economic solution. Bob has over 40 years experience and takes care of his customers by using that experience to save them a lot of money.
The only downside to Anderson's is that it is a bit hard to find, at first, being that it is located behind Bob's house and the garage is definitely a throwback to old school garages. In other words, it's not squeaky clean like a dealership. However, if all you care about is good quality at a fair and honest price then Anderson's is for you.
