Warranties offered

"It went very well. My only complaint was that there was not literature (warranty, maintenance instructions, etc.) that came when they installed it. They said that it would be e-mailed to me. It never was. I also had a technical question so I called them. They put me though to the specialist but I had to leave a message. They never called me back."

Customers say: Quick response

"Bob and Matt were fantastic to work with. Matt took my design sketch and transformed it into a great plan. Most of the contractors they brought in were also top notch. They accommodated a late change request without hesitation. They were easy to work with, especially since I wanted to do some of the finish work myself. I highly recommend them, and suggest booking them as soon as you can, because they get a lot of referrals and quickly fill their schedule."

"Jay and Nichole did an outstanding job on my house. Roof Shampoo, siding, stone work, 3 decks, two sets of stairs, driveway and all exterior windows. Jay took extra care of plants, flowers and landscaping to make they were protected. My house is 23 years old and now looks like new again. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend them."

Patios questions, answered by experts

If you have multiple rooms that could use some organization, home storage solutions like cubbies in your mudroom or built-in shelving can help you move clutter off the floor. Take it one step further by pairing shelves and cabinets with personalized aesthetic touches like woven or canvas lined metal baskets to add another organizational element.

Even under the best of all circumstances, the maximum ROI on a pool is about 56%. There are other exterior home projects that you can do that are both less expensive to tackle and net a more significant ROI. These include:

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, but it won’t count toward the total square footage at an appraisal or when it comes time to sell. A screened-in porch is not fully enclosed, usable year-round, insulated, or heated or cooled, so it doesn’t meet the requirements of livable square footage in most locations.

In most parts of the U.S., adding a screened-in porch requires a building permit. Since this type of project often involves structural work and changes to your home’s footprint, homeowners should adhere to local guidelines. That said, permit rules can vary widely depending on where you live and how extensive the project is. Before you start sketching out plans or ordering materials, check in with your city or county’s building department to avoid headaches, fines, and potential structural issues down the line.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it meets certain criteria. For instance, it must be completely enclosed with solid walls and a roof. It should also have a heating and cooling source similar to the rest of the home. Finally, the porch should have direct access to and from the interior of your house.
