I deal with many contractors as an interior designer. This company did a great job. We had some hiccups with communication in the beginning, but the quality of work done was worth having the patience in the end. They do not cut corners and were very good about explaining the process as it went along to help me make decisions on materials and color choices. Rob was AMAZING as the project lead. They are my "go-to"from now on with any exterior project for me or my clients.

They did a good job and I would hire them again. Their clean up was good and I would recommend them as well.

The job was started beginning of July. They ran out of siding halfway through the job. It took more than 3weeks to get more siding to finish the siding. The job was completed the end of August, 2 weeks later siding in front of the house started to buckle, I called for repairs. Caulking needed to be finished I was told the contractor would be out the following week of the completion of the job. It's now November, all I get is lip service and no service.

Quote was way too high ... and lots of games with pricing and promotions. Just give me your best price!

I didn't end up hiring Rock Solid Exteriors for our new roof due to a couple of things. First off, their sales rep who came out was very nice and pleasant, although completely inexperienced and was just showing us a pre-made slideshow presentation of why we should hire them. In my opinion, he should have been shadowing an experienced salesperson for a while yet rather than being off on his own with only 2 months experience in the industry. When he came to give us our quote, he just took some photos of the house. They did zero inspection of our roof. We had 4 different companies give us quotes for our roof and Rock Solid was the only one that did no inspection on the roof or in the attic. So after the slideshow, we finally get to the price. Their price came in about 40% higher than our other quotes, then they started with the discounts or "coupons" as I like to call them. Oh well here is 25% off for our special we are running, and here is another 10% if you sign with us right here and now today, and here is another percentage off for our advertising package, leaving various reviews for installers, sales rep, allowing them to use before and after photos of our house, signs on the yard, etc. The main reason we opted not to go with them, was because of the "Coupons" that were added to make it seem like they were giving us a deal. Why not just give me the best price you can give me, no coupons. All coupons say is "Look at how much I have the price jacked up". So we didn't use them, so unfortunately I cannot speak in terms of the quality job they do. I was initially very excited to use Rock Solid based on the number of positive Google reviews and reviews here on Angies List. My advice to the owners though, get rid of the discounts and just give the best price you can up front. $36,000 quote then brought down to $24,000 via coupons?

Terrible front end personnel. Called them Friday (have the 12 min call in my log). Set appt for Monday to provide roof repair estimate. No call, no show. Called them today to inquire. No apology for the miss, which I would happily accept (it happens). On the contrary, rather snippy towards me. Older lady gathered all my info and could not find me, even went so far to say they call to confirm appt and if I didn'tconfirm..... (ok, let's get past it now). Then she sends me to Morgan who recycled the conversation which I tried to end a couple of times. Far too much combative conversation and inability to drop it and move on for my taste. Gave up on setting appt. Ended any relationship right there.

Everything went better than expected. The work was done much sooner than expected and came in under the cost the adjuster had come up with. Levi is great to work with and really helped us out. We also used them a couple years to do the siding on our addition. I would definitely recommend Rock Solid if you are looking for siding, gutters, or roof repair. I only mention those three because that is all we have used them for.

My husband and I were searching around for quotes for a new roof/windows. The rep David M. that came out was timely, knowledgable, and was respectful of the COVID guidelines which put our minds at ease. He gave us information regarding different packages and made us feel that we were making an informed decision. David was cognizant of our price range and we were happy to find a bundle that was within our budget without feeling like we had to compromise. We also like that this company donates to charity (Angels of Hope).

Two sales representative Jeff and Matt Visited my home today and I must say that they were very professional, through and knowledgeable of the materials that i selected. I’d recommend these guys to my best friends and then some.

Big hole left in facia, that we got after them to come out & caulk. Instead of gradual pitch, one drops like 2" in the last 2 feet. No detail in paperwork, that they want completely done online. Look elsewhere

The job went very smoothly. I was impressed with the crew's quality of work. This was our third roof replacement, and by far the best one. Once the job was completed the crew left my yard better than they found it. I would recommend this company to anyone.

They did excellent job and also did an excellent job of cleaning up. They started at 8 in the morning and did not leave until 11 at night. A couple of men came back Sunday morning to do a couple more hours of work. On Monday, they even sent out a gentleman to inspect the roof to make sure everything looked good. I would definitely hire them again and I would recommend them.

We have used Rock Solid now twice on two different houses. Both times we have gotten roofs with the platinum package and gutters and the second time we needed to get new insulation and siding too. We couldn't be happier with our decision! They got the entire project done in just a few short weeks after having to contend with lots of fall rain and it looks amazing! But better than the look is the fact that our roof no longer leaks and neither does our siding. The service, quality of product and workmanship far exceeded our expectations both times. You will likely be able to find a cheaper price from another company but you get what you pay for and the superior result we have received and piece of mind for so many years to come is well worth the cost.

The crew was polite and did a great job of keeping the job site clean and free of nails and screws. They did a wonderful job on our roof and gutters - No More Leaks!! The job foreman was very professional and took care of any problems immediately.

This company did a complete tear-off and installed a new roof. The job was horrible my roof looked wavy instead of flat. I called Rock Solid Exteriors several times to fix my brand new roof they sent someone out and he banged on my roof for about 5 min and then set in front of my house in his car for about 10 min when he saw me come out the house he drove off. I called back and complained what he did and my roof still look horrible. They sent a different guy out who who told me I had nail pops he hammered some nails down but my roof still look like it was 10 yrs old. There has been several roofing salesmen who have stopped by my home they would say "I see you need a new roof" I would tell them I just had that roof put on a few months ago, their response was "Really"? One of the salesmen actually worked for Rock Solid Exterior when I told him the roof is just 2yrs he was shocked and wanted to know who did the work and I looked at his shirt and saw that he was from Rock Solid Exteriors I told him your company did the work. I went to get the receipt and showed it to him and he wrote down my name and number that was 3 months ago and no one has called me regarding this issue. I have spoken to the owner several times after the work was done I was trying to get him to come out and see the horrible work his guys did to my home. They also left a whole slew of nails on my roof, I had to replace a tire and have another nail in my tire today. I got tired of having to check out my driveway before I pulled out of the garage to check for nails so one year after the roof install I got on my ladder to look at my roof and there were nails everywhere on the roof, laying on my awning, and in the gutters. I got as many as I could because of I'm afraid of heights I did climb on the roof I took a water hose and got the ones off my awing and grabbed up the all he nails in the gutter. I could also see the some of the nail pops when I was on the ladder. I really did not want to give this company a half star because I feel they took advantage of a single woman who doesn't know much about roofing but I know a good job went I see one. I also have a half star because the customer service sucks. I've personally done a lot of work on the exterior of my home but every time I look at my roof I'm embarrassed especially when a contractor comes to my house looking at me as if to say "Man they saw you coming".... Thanks, Rock Solid Exterior for taking advantage of a single woman I'm sure I'm not the first nor will be the last. The job didn't start on time weeks behind Nov2016, then they did job w/o getting permit and the city fined them. The job did not pass inspection first time either. Right after they completed job I noticed the new shingles looked strange and weren't laying down properly. They said to wait for 3 days of 70* or better which would be in spring. By May the shingles looked worse and boards stared to delaminate, my gutters now leak , the roof looks worse than before they did job.I keep contacting them and they say they will honor their warranty, but then they so nothing.

The contractor originally said he'd get here a half hour before my insurance adjuster to mark up the roof. The story then changed to "the most important part is that he's present for the insurance adjuster appointment". The day of the appointment, he calls the adjuster to say he won't be there, never called me, and to this day I still haven't heard back from him. I took that as Rock Solid Exteriors not wanting my job. It's highly unprofessional to not show up to any appointment, or late, it's even worse when you leave someone hanging completely. If this is what I get when you're trying to earn my business, I'm glad you showed your true colors before the job was began.
