All services are performed by trained repair people, i.e. plumber, electrician, etc. They were all knowledgeable, prompt, courteous. However, the furnace tech replaced or moved a water tube on the electric humidifier and failed to connect it properly. We discovered water had leaked to the floor and ran under a wall soaking an area of our carpet and padding underneath. My husband was not happy!

This was a nice thought, but he hard sell to buy a new water heater was over the top. A lot of "if you don't" then "flooding." Etc., yada yada. They seem to be nice people and they were prompt with response and whatnot, but I won't be doing it again.

A plumbing inspection for $19 through Angie's List was a great deal. The 'F' rating for Price was based on the estimate I was given ($4000) to fix a crack in the main sewer line in my basement. (I had the work done by another local plumbing company for $750) I have to say that the plumber that was sent out was a nice guy and did a very thorough inspection, which I appreciated. He was on time, very polite, and knew what he was doing. I don't blame him for the high estimate. I'm sure it is some kind of policy they have, as they try to sell you on the fact that they will not go over that price no matter what. In my experience it's best to stay away from these blanket companies that offer all your home services in one (heating/cooling, electric, plumbing). Their prices are always ridiculously high. Edit: The company that did the work did it to code and with the best materials possible for the job, with a warranty. Feel free to call me anytime AFTER 4PM, instead of during my work day while I am busy. Thanks for your response.

Service provider wanted to sell me a yearly membership with their company that would provide discounts for any additional work they would do. He then gave me an estimate to replace one faucet. The estimate was over five hundred dollars and that was only if I bought the membership which was over 100 hundred dollars. I was unpleasantly shocked. Six years previously, I had a faucet replaced by another company and was only charged a little under 200 hundred dollars. Based on the high estimate, I would never use the company.

Very professional. The installer talked me through the entire process answering all of my questions as we went. I was very pleased with the service.

My original review is truthful and factual. In fact, I see that the Service Professor's new water heater flush offer has new wording: "Inspecting water-heater emergency gas-shut-off valve to ensure safe operation". "Inspection of water-heater emergency valve" is no longer part of the offered service.

Super professional and very friendly. Work was performed quickly and neatly. What's not to like about that!

When I woke up at about 6am to get ready to go to practice with the band at church, I found my basement horribly flooded, including the carpet in the bedroom down there. Try as I might, I couldn't get it to stop, even though I turned off the water going to it. I immediately called my home warranty provider. Initially they contacted another plumber. After an extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate discussion with the guy there who ultimately hung up on me (admittedly I was hysterical... I didn't know what to do, and my basement was continuing to flood), I called the home warranty provider again; and she patched me into Dawn at The Service Professor. Dawn was so understanding and compassionate. She asked if I had turned off the water coming into the house... the other plumber never asked that! She said that their technician had been out until 2am but that she would text him as soon as she got off the phone with me. After the "incident" with the other plumber, when Dawn got back with me, it was now after 8am. She said Ben would be there about 10am but that she would call when he was getting close. He didn't get there until about 11:30am; but although not very talkative, he was very nice. He had to go in and out, making calls to locate a new hot water heater and confirming the warranty company would pay the extra for coming on a Sunday and such, but he took the time to pet my dogs and was always very professional. If you ever need a plumber, definitely, hands down, call The Service Professor!

Excellent. Jason was very prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. He wore protective booties and took great care to not make a mess. He explained issues with the water heater and the remodels that provided us with excellent information to move forward. Also, the customer service aspect of the company in terms of contacting, scheduling, keeping me informed, etc., was top notch. Thank you.

I was looking for a contractor to install a vent fan and proper venting for a bathroom that had none since 1964. I came across them and based on their rating had them come give me an estimate. The electrician that showed up was very knowledgeable, took the time to listen to what I wanted and then presented me with five different option based on quality or parts and labor to install said parts. We picked one of the higher priced options based on the good reviews of the high quality fan to be installed. He came today and installed everything that what expected in a very timely and professional manner. I was so impressed with their service I signed up for their home protection plan, which in my opinion is cheap insurance for the house plus it reduces service fee's and gives a discount on labor and parts for future jobs. I would recommend them and will use them for future projects.

Great scheduling. The company sent a picture and profile of the person showing up. He wore footies in the house. Was polite. Did his job. Answered questions. All good.

My experience with Paul, from the Service Professor, went very good. He was polite, respectful and very knowledgeable. He was quickly able to assess the work I was looking to complete. He provided 3 optional quotes for the additional work I was looking to have done and did not pressure for an upsale. The work was completed in a timely manner. Reason for the 'B' grade for responsiveness was that I was asked to cancel on the original scheduled date at the last minute and rescheduled. Not a big deal. On the rescheduled date, I received a call to arrive a couple hours early because the tech finished a previous job early. Again, not a big deal, but I won't hand out an 'A'.

Perfectly as expected. Checked all the details out too.

The provider arrived as scheduled, performed the advertised service and describe the other optional services his company provides.

They did a very good job and I was very happy with it. He was a very nice young man.

The electrician was very prompt and professional in his work. He explained what he was planning on doing, where the new boxes would go, and suggested placement of the new 220 VAC line. He also identified some issues with the current wiring that wasn't up to current codes and suggested ways to fix the issues. His work was very nice and neat. cleaned up all of the scraps and removed the old boxes for disposal. Very impresesed with the work and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Work was completed in less than 3 hours. Everything is working properly.

I had no issues with them or with their work. They are very professional and prompt. They did a good job.

He did a pretty good job. He hooked up a difficult hook up to a water heater. The cost was just for the installation because I already had the water heater in my basement. It had a power vent he had to go through. It was a difficult hook up and he took care of it by himself so he seemed pretty competent. He was probably the most experienced plumber on staff. The price was way in the ballpark.

All went well. Work performed in one day (upgraded most house plugs, put up ceiling fan, upgrades to electrical, installed linked fire alarms). Only negative was that technician was in almost continual upsell mode (e.g. full redo of electrical, whole house backup generator, etc. linked fire alarms [which I did purchase].

I had been having random power outages. This would affect some rooms and some, but not all, lights. My appliances would go off for two minutes to two hours at a time. There was no warning, no dimming of lights and nothing to indicate by the things being affected what the problem could be. I had Consumers power come out and check my outside box and connections and all seemed to be good. When I called the Service Professor, all of their electricians were booked for today. I explained my problem and they felt this was an urgent situation with the potential for fire so they said they would work me in. I received a call that a technician was on the way about 2 hours later. Dave Smith came to my home and read my notes and took a look at the panel and wrote up an estimate of what he thought it could be and what it would cost to fix it. He found two loose wires in the panel and one that showed signs of having been too hot and actually melted some of the coating on the wire. He checked all the connections and replaced that wire and I haven't had any further problems. (It had gone off twice for an hour each time before he got there). He was professional, friendly and courteous and didn't waste any time getting to the job. This company does not bill by the hour as many do but bills by the individual job. They also do plumbing, heating and cooling so they really provide all the basic services. I am very please with their care and concern and their rapid response to my problem. Dianne Charon

He talked too much. Wanted me to buy a new water heater. I didn't call him for that. I called to fix my shower leak and my 1/2 bath toilet. UNBELIEVABLE!
