Technician recommended to replace the whole unit for a new one because of a broken wire, I new about. Ranging from $5000 - $2400. He ended up replacing a BROKEN WIRE for $368 in parts and labor. I offered to install myself but he refused and he threatened with a lawsuit if we don't cooperate. Not sure how they earned the BBB A+ stamp but If you have a choice stay away and clear of this place. Can not recommend.

It went great - they were very professional and completed a very complex job in one day. They left my home as clean as they found it. They also provided the best price of the three contractors I contacted for quotes. From the quoting process to the final installation I was happy with every person I worked with and would have no problem recommending them to a friend.

Called for a quote for water heater replacement. Would not provide quote unless we paid $59 service fee to have a technician come to my home and tell me I needed my water heater replaced. How can I compare to other service providers if I can't get an estimate without paying them to show up first?

Josh Gierman was friendly, responsive, answered all my questions, and saved me money. He quickly and expertly sized up my electrical issues. He discovered an incandescent wire in an outlet that could have been a fire hazard. He installed 3 GFCI's around my sink areas. He had a simple fix on a motion detection light that was not working properly by putting black electrical tape over the daylight sensor. This allowed me not to replace the light. He recommended services I could do down the road when money becomes available. Service Professor had a promotion on the whole house electrical inspection that was a bargain and saved me a trip charge to boot. I would highly highly recommend Josh and Service Professor. They have been my first choice for electrical needs for many years now.

Jim was courteous, knowledgeable, and a great guy to talk to. You could tell he knew his trade and would do quality work. Biggest challenge for us was the price. We received a significantly lower price from another contractor for the same service. That said, I would call them again if I had a little extra to spend.

I worked with Tim and he was very professional and communicated the issue with the current water heater. Then provided me with my options for a new heater. The installation went well and ensured my house was left clean. Would definitely work with this organization again.

Work was fantastic. They were able to fix an issue that other repair companies were not able to diagnose or fix.

Tim was very prompt , considerate ( shoe covers to protect my floor-as well as bringing a mat for the front door! ) and helpful ( answering questions I had about my 19-year-old water heater. )

The Service Professor offered me an appointment for the following day, but was offered a same-day appointment for an additional $100. I accepted the next day appointment. At about noon, they called and said a tech was available and would be dispatched to look at my a/c. The technician found that mice had built a nest in my a/c and chewed on some wires. He showed me the capacitor and noted that it was rusty on the outside and needed replacement. Also, he stated the air conditioner's contactor needed replacement. Neither item was tested. The quote for the repair was $504 plus the $59 service charge -- total of $563. I asked how that broke down parts vs. labor. He stated he did not know -- that they use flat-rate pricing. Then he informed me it could be $100 to $500 additional if the freon was low. I declined the repair and opted to call another provider for a second opinion. The second company came out, inspected and repaired the wiring, and 20-minutes later my a/c was cooling again. Cost of repair - $120.50. From my experience with Service Professor I would classify them a sales organization instead of a repair company. Caveat emptor.

I was on crutches due to recent surgery so could not get down the basement stairs to check the furnance myself. The repair person arrived several hours past the promised arrival time. He spent approximately twenty minutes downstairs looking at the furnace; he came upstairs and proceeded to brag about his several years of experience fixing furnaces. He apparently failed to do the most basic checks required for the service code 31 indicated; problem could have been resolved by simply emptying the moisture trap and reconnecting the tube, which should have cost only the basic service charge for this area of approx. $85; instead, he advised I needed a new motor and other parts costing just over $1,000 to make the furnace work properly. I said "no," and when I confronted the service manager with my information, the amount I paid on the service date was refunded - the only excuse offered was that the repair person who came to my home worked all day and was probably tired. In my opinion, the repair person sent to my home was either totally inexperience and should never have been sent to repair anybody's furnace because his actions could kill people, or he deliberately tried to cheat me. I will never call them again for anything.

Showed up on time but then wanted to reschedule out a week and go to another job. I said I would find somebody else, so they agreed to stayed. There was no issue with the quality of work. If you need something done quick and are willing to pay (charged me $366 per hr). they are ok.

He checked it over and did testing. He had us come out to show us what he found. He shared his recommendations and why, with options. Even though we do need a new A/C unit did not try to pressure us into replacing. We are praying it makes it through on more summer.
