"A couple of weeks ago, we noticed a faint smell of gas from our fireplace. We checked Google for contractors, as one does, and found Lil Joeâ s. Joe was available to come out that day to address the smell and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure the leak was fixed. He added a shutoff valve to the fireplace gas line in the basement, and replaced the inner workings of the fireplace itself. We then proceeded to order gas logs from Joe and he installed those just last week. His prices are fair, he is extremely clean, and his work is fantastic. I would suggest Lil Joeâ s to anyone that is in need of a gas fireplace install or maintenance!"

"Very easy to make an appointment with.  They were very prompt in calling with the details of what was wrong with the vehicle, what needed to be done to fix it, and an accurate quote.  Once the go ahead was given to fix the vehicle the work was completed quickly. I have never felt that they were trying to push unnecessary services or parts on me.  They do a nice job of pointing out things that were nearing the end of their service life (ie brakes) and would probably need replacement soon.  However, they also told me that I could get a few more months out of them before needing to be replaced.  Overall, great service on my vehicles, good communication and great customer service.

"Went OK. They did the work and it 'mostly worked' when they were done. I say mostly because the pressure valve was blowing off of the boiler when they were done (This was NOT happening before they had done the work). I had noticed this the day after I had paid. I contacted them and they wanted to replace the expansion tank and charge me $200. I asked - shouldn't this be covered under the initial work of $4600? They said the part wasn't explicitly in the quote. Frankly at this point to replace what really was a $40 part and half hour of time to do a fully finished job (for $4600). For 1. How am I supposed to know (as a customer) what should be on the quote for a fully finished job (pumps, piping, etc? - they are the expert) 2. How am I supposed to know this isnt their fault. (Shouldnt an autofilling expansion tank be connected to the incoming water supply?) Frankly not standing fully behind their work and making sure they do everything to do a good, finished job - left a 'bad' taste in my mouth. In the end I replaced the auto-filling expansion tank with an Extrol expansion tank for $40 and it took me less than an hour. After that it all appears to work."

"Gunnar was able to fit me into a schedule within a couple weeks and had a much simpler install proposal for my woodstove than my other estimate. He carted away the old firebox and much of the unexpected related garbage (old insulation.) His work landed within the original estimate given and everything seems to be working appropriately. Additionally he offered to assist if I needed to know more about starting the stove, was friendly to chat with, and offered a unique idea on how to potentially move the woodstove in the future to give more space in the room and whatnot."
