Did walk-around with me before and after project to be sure any trouble spots were addressed. Used buckets to collect debris from gutters; bagged; took away with them; washed out gutters; made sure all downspouts were clear; cleaned up work areas. In and out in 1 hour. Mr. Handyman of Northern St Joseph & Elkhart CoMr. Handyman arrived on time, was informative about the cost and work involved, worked quickly and efficiently. A bonus: he was articulate, polite, and conducted himself professionally. We called Mr. Handyman again in February when the snow on our roof melted and the resulting dammed-up water leaked into the ceiling and along the windows. We were out of town when they came, but our neighbors confirmed that they came promptly and worked carefully. The bill was fair (had been explained over the phone, ahead of time) and there has been no additional leakage. Hired Timberseal to strip, clean and stain (spray/brush method) Shadowbox Wood (cedar) Fence. The company has its own stain product which (based on previous customers) has its good life span after applied. The job was assigned to two technicians (Justin and Justin) who worked from beginning to the end of the project. Proper protection methods were used to prevent potential over spray. Job was done timely. This team did great job in timely manner. They cleaned job site afterwards. Would hire them again in the future, because they were very detailed, and professional.

The guy who did the power washing, and the sub contractor who did all of the painting, were great, and did an amazing job. I was new to this, and didn't realize that I should have found a smaller company, who actually does the work, instead of paying a much higher price, for quoters, project managers, etc. One of my neighbors tried to help me out, by letting me know that I could have saved a lot of money by doing this, but it was too late. So I recommend to anyone needing painting done, to find a smaller company, where the owner is the quoter, estimater,, project manager, and actually does the work, etc. rAlso I had a big problem with communication with the "quoter" for the company, and him not doing what he said he was going to do. I was going to cancel the project, but the owner of the company came out with the "quoter" and smoothed things over with me. The main reason that I didn't cancel with this company, was because they did offer financing, (one year, same as cash), and because I have already paid for a lot of projects, and still have more to do. But I could have paid probably half of the price to a "sub contractor. " I just recommend that you research companies, and take some time to think about it, before you agree to anything.
