Westborn Electric

I was thoroughly impressed with the company from the very first e-mail response to my original inquiry. I woke up to an e-mail telling me that they could get me in between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, if I responded to the message in time. I answered with the OK to have them there at the time frame specified and hit the send button. Literally 30 seconds later, my phone rang and it was Westborn Electric. Lorraine was extremely professional and friendly and narrowed the appointment down to 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM. She provided the cost details and told me to print off the Angie's List coupon to receive 20% of my labor cost. I was so impressed with the call and waited for the electrician to arrive. The Electrician and Apprentice showed up at 9:20. They knew what to do right away and gave me specific advice as to my next steps to discuss with my energy company. There was enough time left in my one hour labor charge to have them add two circuits and take some load off of heavily used existing circuits. These guys were very professional as well. They were gone by 10:00 AM and I was extremely happy with the value and quality of the service that I received. My overall experience with Westborn Electric was EXTREMELY pleasant and professional from the first e-mail to the "thank you for your business" handshake. I would very highly recommend Westborn Electric for any electrical needs. I'm a very happy camper.

Westborn Electric is AWESOME!!!!!! They came out and gave us an estimate. We never received estimate. When we were ready to move forward and called them, they apologized and immediately emailed us with the estimate. When we informed them the spa had been installed, they made adjustments to the estimate. They had decided we did not need a second trip if we wanted to back fill the trench after inspection. This saved us $275. They were scheduled to come out 10/28. Received email from Lorraine stating they could come out and do the work on 10/23/15!!! They were timely, professional and did a fantastic job! They made sure the hot tub was filled and working properly prior to leaving. Would highly recommend this company!!!!!

Westborn came out to do quote after contacting them through Angie's List. Quote accepted and appointment was set. We were notified the day of appointment for time range. Recontacted to indicate they would be coming a little earlier. OK with us. 2 workers can one did the troubleshooting and found problem.... Other worker starting installing fixtures and ceiling fan.... Since they had time we asked if they could installed the second new fan...... Workers were polite and knowledgeable. Fair price and good work and Angie discount.

Mark was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He was on time, he listened to what we said and he discussed options with us. He explained everything very well and we were impressed that he took the time to give us details and share his knowledge with us. We would have loved to have used their service, but we are just coming out of graduate school, so we are still on a tight budget. We could see that he uses very excellent quality materials and so that maybe the cause of the price difference. If we could have afforded it, I'm sure it would have been a great experience working with them, especially after a great meeting with Mark.

The third time we had a meeting they took a bunch of notes and we confirmed the work would be done. We never heard from them again.

Their service was great. They were wonderful. They were good.

Mark, the "El Presidente", of Westborn Electric went above and beyond the call of duty for my family. We had electricity out in the back of our house and in our garage. We have three young boys who needed their "night light" to sleep and we also had some equipment in the garage we couldn't get to that was needed badly. We were borrowing baseball mitts, lawn tools, etc from friends and neighbors because we couldn't get in. Mark offered to come on Memorial Day for no additional pay and do it all himself. He came at 3 pm and left a little after 8 pm. There was still a bit more to do, but he had our garage power working before he left. (This was a big residential job). He sent out Brendan and Cody to finish the other work needed the next day (Tuesday). Great, courteous guys. They cleaned up well and put everything back better than how they found it. They did not seemed rushed at all, but worked very efficiently. We were treated well through the whole process, from sale to finish. I will definitely hire them again.

It has been good so far. They were professional. They got in and out. I haven't had any problem. I thought they were a little expensive.

The crew was done on the day they promised and did A+ work. The company responded every time I called and I would recommend them hands down. I feel my Dads house is now updated and safe and secure electrically.

I was really happy with the work they did, They let me know that it was going to take pretty much the whole day in advance so I knew how to plan my day. Mark was really nice and clean workmanship .They were unable to get to the doorbell but they'll be back . I'm looking forward to working with them again when I refinish my basement.

Overall the two guys that were here did an excellent job. They asked good questions to label the box, walked us through how to use the new generator plug and most of all added a little humor into the afternoon by just being personable. We couldn't have asked for a better visit.

It was a lot of work, and there were surprises like standing water in the crawl space, but the guys from Westborn motored through, getting everything done in 2 days. The work looks good, and I feel more at ease in the house, knowing it meets all current safety requirements for electrical

Two Techs arrived about 9 am and worked until 6:30 pm stopping only briefly for food. They left no mess and even replaced a section of drywall they cut out to run wires, rather than leave the hole.

The company was friendly and nice they did not perform any service for us so I cannot speak to the quality of their work.

I called the office to set up an appointment the phone was answered by a very polite and professional person, the estimate was scheduled for a few days away to fit my schedule without any problem, they arrived on time actually a few minutes early he was very polite and willing to answer all of my questions, I received another estimate from another company which was much higher and they were doing virtually the same work, my wife and I decided to go with Westborn Electric not just because of the price but also how friendly and professional the office was when I called for the estimate and how friendly, professional and knowledgeable the estimator was, they scheduled the install date and time and were on time again they told me it would be about 7-8 hours to complete the job and they were done in less than 7 hours they also cleaned up very well.

The service was fabulous. When they first came out to do an assessment we were in the process of having a deck built. He was needing to put ground poles in, he had someone out within 24 hours to put the poles in to not mess up the deck work. They were professional, polite and spectacular to work with.

Very well. Owner gave the estimate the day after the original call. The work was scheduled and completed on the scheduled date. The workers were polite and neat. Suggestions were made on another smaller job that I need.

A very good experience from start to finish. Showed up on time, very professional. Cleaned up afterwards. I am a skilled tradesman so I know good work when I see it.

They did a great job. The owner from Westborn inspected what needed to be done, was very friendly and engaging and clear about my issues, showing me the problems. The two younger gentlemen that came to do the work were extremely professional, kept me up-to-date about what was going on and finished the work in a timely manner. They were great and I would definitely use this company again.

In the first place, the guy that came out was very professional looking, probably in his 40's, and he seemed to know a lot about electrical work. I felt very comfortable that he would do an excellent job. Unfortunately, he was just the estimator. The reason that I signed up so quickly, was because I thought that he was the one who was going to do the work. The two guys who actually came out, were in their 20's, and not very professional at all. Most everything was installed okay. However, the electrical panel looks like it is warped or maybe just not lined up very well. The old hole where the old 100 amp box went, was a lot smaller and they should have tried to make that hole bigger to accommodate the bigger box. When they were labeling the circuits on the box, they were yelling at each other from one end of the house, to the other end, and could not hear the other at times. My granddaughter suggested to me that they should have had walkie-talkies or cell phones. I do not know why some of the circuits were left in the off position. Some of the circuits were labeled "Gen Lts." So, either those buttons cover the whole house or these guys didn't know where the wires went? When they were wrapping up the job, one of them said he was sorry that it took so long. Apparently, they had a lot of trouble staying on schedule. I asked one guy about a wire going around the outside corner of the house. He explained that it is a ground wire. But when he went to show me how it was set into the dirt, it was still just laying on top of the dirt. After they left, we had to clean up the muddy carpet. They had been in and out of the house quite a bite, and wound up tracking in a lot of mud. Perhaps, they should have some pieces of cardboard or some other material that they can lay down, so as not to leave such a mess.

Back yard security light did not go on so i flipped the inside switch got a big flash , power surge and circuit breaker tripped. Had a different electrician come out and .due to the strange wiring he could not correct the problem. Called Westborn Electrical They came out the next day and after a couple of hours determined that the underground wire had shorted out. Due to the fact that the ground was frozen we decided to wait for spring. When the thaw came they returned and finished the job to my satisfaction Very pleased with their professionalism .Would hire them again.

The office was very courteous. The service man came the day and hour that was given to me. The work and price were very good. If I should have any electrical problems again, I will definitely call this company again. I was very pleased!
