Westborn Electric

Westborn came and check on the line that was cut by a tree that got struck by a lightning and fell down on the electrical lines. Westborn was able to identify the problem and recommend to contact DTE for the repairs since it was the mainline that was cut and DTE will fix the line for free.

Westborn Electric did a fantastic job getting our family room ready for remodeling. They added four can lights, recommending LED, which I prefer anyway. They added two outlets and changed out all the old outlets which were the wrong color and getting very old. They also ran our cable and ethernet line to an outlet. There was a bit of a mixup in that we thought they would terminate the cable and ethernet line in an outlet, but a check of the work order showed that was not ordered. The lesson I learned was to always check the details of the work order. I would not mark them down for that. My wife and I were able to install the cable and ethernet outlet ourselves after the job was finished. Overall, we are very pleased and would recommend them.

I contacted Westborn and they responded within 30 minutes to an hour. They were at my house less than an hour after that so responsiveness was AMAZING! The two lighting professionals worked efficiency and were very nice. The lights look beautiful!

Absolutely horroible experience. They electricians they sent to our office harrassed our staff and used profane, racist language that deeply offended everyone. When asked to stop they continued and at an even louder volume. We are filing a complaint with the better business bureau in an attempt to get this on record, hopefully with action, to prevent anyone else from having to be subject to such abuse.

Justin was on time, polite, understood when I preferred he remove his boots before coming on to the carpet, and efficient. He cleaned up and removed old parts and boxes from the products he replaced when he left. I felt the pricing was fair and I will definitely call again when future electrical needs are required.

Steve tryed for hours to find were the power was lost from the neutral wire but couldnt find it. He the ran a new neutral wire and breaker switch,fixed some loose outlets. power was restored. very happy ee got our power back

I am very disappointed with treatment by this provider. Previously used this company to install a ceiling fan, which was accomplished with prompt and professional service. However when I tried on two consecutive days to attempt installation of a light fixture, was promised on both occasions they would get back with me immediately. Never heard back either time. Very disappointed, particularly since I was repeat customer. Sadly, will not try again and will look to new electrician for future work.

So I bought two ceiling fans last summer, I started to install the first one ran into problems the mount did not line up, did not know how to fix, eventually put them in the closet. I looked on Angies list and found a near by A rated company with experience installing ceiling fans. I made the appointment at my convenience and at 9:00 A.M. this morning Scott and Miles arrived. You cannot be more on time than that! They got right to work, they knew what to do, removed the mud ring, alerted me to a a couple minor quality issues with the fans (2 missing thumb screws, 1 globe with an internal crack), cleaned up and were done in less than 2 hours. The fans work great. Outstanding punctuality, outstanding service, got the job done and off my list, and very affordable. I would absolutely hire Westborn Electric again, actually I would not try installing a ceiling fan again, I'd just hire them to do it.

Two experienced electricians came and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly (corroded wire in one of the outlets, breaking the circuit). Fixed this and a few other parts of the wiring that were not done correctly.

Estimate was highest of three and might have used their services except that they required a 50% deposit prior to work. I authorized payment using a Visa card. Soon after I decided that I did not wish to use there services. I called the secretary back and asked to a credit be applied to my VISA account to cancel out the deposit payment I had made. I was told that it would done but a week later a deposit had not yet been added to my VISA account. I reported the problem to VISA which placed my payment in dispute and credited me for the amount paid. Later I called Western back and spoke the secretary who apologized for the oversight and said that it would be corrected. Soon after Western authorized a credit to my VISA account and the dispute was terminated.

Well. Did work, cleaned up and everything fine. Did have a couple small follow up issues that I never received a reply on. Still very happy with work done.
