"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Mike O'Brien (the owner) was difficult to get a hold of and it took multiple attempts and numerous voicemails before he responded. He apparently attempted to contact me through Angie's List email only. I was scheduled for work on Fri., April 25 only to have a and quot;no-showand quot; for the day. I stayed home from work and did not leave the house in the hopes that someone would show up…but to no avail. To Mike's credit, when he finally called me back, he offered to double my deal purchased for no more money (additional 8 hours of work). I appreciated his customer service to make it right for his oversight on scheduling.
His employee (Mauricio) was great and did everything I requested of him and more. I would hire him again in a heart beat. My concern is that some vendors on Angie's List do not value customers who purchase deals through Angie's List and as such provide questionable customer service. I am having the same experience with a landscaper who I have to continually and quot;track downand quot; to find out when the work will be completed.
I might consider MPO Builders again the future with clear communication regarding what, when, where, and who. My only consideration is a result of having a great experience with Mauricio directly. He was great. One could speculate that Mike hires good people.

"Preston of G-1 Plumbing performed the services and addressed the toilet & drain problem. He was unable to stop leak(made it worse) & submitted his recs to Choice Home for review. I was unable to understand Choice Home's response regarding the faucet leak. Their review stated faucet needed to be replaced BUT it was under "builder's warranty." I built this home in 2005. There is no "builder's warranty" now. I cancelled the proposed work order & paid out-of-pocket. A Friend, who was familiar with my builder and knows faucet components, came to my home, adjusted/cleaned the faucet cartridge and stopped the leak. The CHW tech, Preston, is conscientiuos, however, IMHO lacked the knowledge & experience to stop my leak. Home Warranty Companies, at least in my area, hire owner/operators who need the work to build their business and are NOT the most experienced/knowledgeable & are willing to work for less money. In my experience, Home Warranty Companies want the CHEAPEST resolution, not the BEST. I would recommend G-1 Plumbing for most plumbing issues."
