Hello, my name is Tyler! I have been working in residential construction for the last seven years. Primarily in renovations, I have developed many hands on skills and acquired many of the tools it takes for the job. I am very comfortable working inside or out of a house. I would love to take a look at any renovation work you have!

"Searched for handyman service for variety of projects. Found one through Home Advisor/Angi app that serviced the area of the home that needed repairs. Called Dakota who told us she works for Tyler Handyman Service and given her the basics of the scope of repairs need. She provided us her phone number for contact. She was also given a copy in PDF form of the repairs for reference. On 10/14/23, Dakota said she was going to the house about 1-130pm. She was given the lockbox code for access since house is vacant. She texted that she need to get some supplies from Home Depot and then provided a picture of the receipt for reimbursement and provided her Venmo QR code. My boss, Joy, reimbursed Dakota for those expenses. Dakota said she was going back to the house to take care of the few items. She was to do a removal of a heater in the kitchen, but was not done. The homeowner eventually removed it themselves. Locks on the windows were not correctly installed-hence the windows cannot open, and did not do any of the storm windows repair or installed. Dakota said she will need to go back on Monday 10/16/23 at 11am. I sent her a reminder on Sunday night 10/15/23 without a response. I texted and called on Tuesday 10/17/23 and Wednesday 10/18/23 with out a response. Goes to voicemail and then mailbox is full so unable to leave any messages. I have tried calling Tylers Handyman Service and the phone number is no longer in service"

There's no simple answer to which is less costly: wood or metal-framed homes. In most cases, metal building components cost more than wooden ones, while entire metal buildings cost less than wooden versions. However, regardless of the exterior framing or structure, each must meet similar building codes. Most wooden carports take 3-7 days to construct, depending on size, complexity, and weather conditions.

Pole barns and carports are similar in that they rely on posts for support and are often not connected to a primary structure. The main difference between the two is that pole barns usually include walls that surround the entire perimeter of the structure, while carports generally remain open on three or four sides. It’s possible to insulate garage doors and even exterior walls on pole barns to create a comfortable workspace, and it’s a bit more secure for storage purposes. However, carports are more affordable.

Cedar and cypress are great wood choices for a window planter box because they’re readily available and won’t break the bank. However, there are plenty of wood types appropriate for a window flower box. Try using redwood for its natural resistance to rot, though it is on the expensive side.

Rather than using a common two-by-four piece of wood for a rafter, you probably will use two-by-six, two-by-eight, two-by-ten, or even two-by-twelve boards. Wider lumber is typically a better choice in a larger building as it provides more sturdiness. Some installers may use wider lumber for rafters near the edges of the roof, where the greatest stress occurs, and save money with narrower lumber toward the middle.
