Abe walked us through every thorough and comprehensive step that he took to ensure the new living space would be safe and functional for many years to come. We asked Abe for a number of specialty finish carpentry projects and all were finished meticulously. "I can't overstate the quality of the work these folks did. We had our unfinished attic converted to living space, and the space had a lot of funky angles and old framing. G.A. Doughty's team did an incredible job making it work, including a half-bath! We're very pleased with the result. Everyone at G.A., the project manager, office staff, and all the subcontractors were very polite and fun to work with. Everyone who came to the house was very friendly. The only issue we had was that for a few months during the middle of the project, things seemed to stall out for about 6-8 weeks. I think they were having some availability issues with subcontractors and were overloaded from other projects."

"At our first meeting (after interviewing 3 others) Greg laid out the plan for the deck replacement and after 15 minutes I knew he was a competent, detail oriented contractor. During this project he broke down the staggered payments and communicated every day of the project through texts and showing up in person. Greg took charge in overseeing everything like a platoon leader in the field by maintaining the flow of construction resulting in a smooth, exceptional conclusion. Part of the old deck was problematic. He examined every inch where there were issues and was able to overcome some difficulty and see what I couldn't. He suggested a landing on the stairway, widening and decreasing the pitch which accommodated an easier climb for us. Those are just the highlights, there was much more. "We had a great experience working with Wes from Boynton Builders LLC! We had a pretty extensive basement remodel / conversion to living space project that we needed help on, and we are extremely happy all aspects of this project using Boynton Builders LLC. Wes responded quickly to a voice message I left, was able to quickly schedule a time to visit to discuss our intended Scope of Work (which also involved another project re-enforcing a carrying beam and support post in our detached garage) after which he quickly provided detailed quote that fortunately fell with our budget. We agreed to move forward, and Wes went to the Town Office for us and took care of the Building Permit and were able to start our project within a couple of weeks and the work proceeded at a good clip with every stage discussed being performed in the order identified from the onset. As the project progressed, we added an additional phase to the scope of work (Install Flooring and a new double door) and he quickly estimated the additional cost got the next phase into his schedule about a week after the completion of the first / original project. Throughout the whole project Wes was pleasant, professional, motivated and productive and open to any requests for change as the space began to be completed and new ideas came into play as we were better able to visualize the final result. Wes completed all of the work on time and within the budget/ and additional scope estimates. We already have the next project planned and will be using Boynton Builders LLC again. Any friends that have seen the completed project state that it is "an incredible transformation" and we are proud to welcome friends into a space that was once an embarrassment.
