They fit me in quickly since my brakes were scaring me.  They were able to replace the parts and do the regular maintenance - oil change and inspection in a short time period.  We really are happy with this shop, I highly recommend.  
This is one of the only honest auto repair places I have ever been.

We were very lucky to find this garage when we arrived.  I started going there due to reviews that I found and they were absolutely right.  He is honest and will not push you to get unnecessary repairs.  
We had taken our vehicle to the dealership due to a part recall and the dealership found the issue.  I distrust dealership garages so we took it straight to Woodford Street Garage and they did a great job, they always do.
Woodford Street Garage always works us in when we need to get in and is always great to deal with.

I was very happy with the service. John is honest and very pleasant and I will definitely use them in the future.

For such a simple service, they said just call in the am and leave it for an hour - they would work it in. The labor charge was only $8.50 and the bulb made up the difference. They were cordial, responsive and speedy.
(A few months ago they analyzed a different problem with the electrics in the car. They told me exactly what was wrong, but advised me due to the computer reset required I should go to the dealer. There was no charge for this analysis).

It went great! I have been taking my cars to Woodford's Street Garage for the past 6 yrs, at least. I have to say that I have referred several of my friends and family to Woodford's because of their honesty. They will always let you know and quot;what they would doand quot;. For instance: My father's car's and quot;heads were leakingand quot;. Both my Dad and I know next to nothing about cars, so if they would have suggested that we fix the problems, we would have! However, we were told how much it would cost to fix, (very expensive) and they suggested that perhaps the car wasn't worth putting all of that money into. (It was a 2000, Chevy Impala, and had somewhat high milage) It would have cost, pretty much, what the car was worth at the time, to fix. He said if it were him, he would just run the car and keep checking the oil, meanwhile, save up for a newer car to buy. Within a month, the car's transmission completely and quot;diedand quot; without warning. To replace a tranny is really expensive, so thank goodness we didn't spend a bunch of money fixing the and quot;headsand quot;!
A lot of other mechanics would have told us to fix the problems just so they could get the business, no matter what!! Steve and John, (the owners) care about their customers and are completely HONEST. They have plenty of loyal customers and they have no need to try to scam anyone. This garage is excellent and I would, (and do!) recommend that anyone who wants quality service, go to them.

After living with it for a while, I decided to go ahead with the job. John's estimate was right on, and it solved the problem. I have to say my husband and I have been going to him for years with our Hondas and Toyotas, and he is the best. If anything he talks you out of repairs until they are really necessary. As a woman, I appreciate that he explains the jobs to me clearly without condescension, and notices that I am following him.

They did a diagnosis, found a faulty sensor, topped off the fluid, and solved the problem. I was expecting to need a new master cylinder or worse. It was a great experience dealing with honest and competent people.
