First visit they didn't hear the noise when braking, no charge for that time, but we heard the noise immediately on driving away. Scheduled to take vehicle back. We were charged more than 1/3 the cost of the original work the prior September, without a clear finding of what was causing the noise, and again we could hear the noise as soon as we drove away and applied the brakes. In addition, they had done other work without calling to see if we wanted it done.

These guys really bailed me out. I had a much higher (x3) estimate form the shop I usually go to. My son-in-law referred me to Riversdie, and I will never go anywhere else for jobs larger than oil changes. They're a little rough around the edges, but provide superb, reasonable service.

Riverside Garage said that the rear axel bushings were fine. There was an ever so slight fraying but that they were good for many, many miles ahead (a trip to California and back, they said). So I gladly paid for my inspection and went on my way. It's imnportant to remember that Riverside Garage (in business for over 50 years) wants to make money, too; they're just not willing to make it by lying to their customers.
