About a year ago we called Mr. Sparky in Portland to ask for an estimate to connect our generator to our home's electric panel. I had seen their commercials and wanted their help to offset concerns for harsh winter weather and power outages (Maine winters!). They responded quickly and professionally. I spoke with the receptionist who had Shaun come out and walk through the process with my husband. Shaun was punctual, professional, yet friendly and comfortable to speak with. After answering the many questions my husband asked Shaun gave us an estimate which we found reasonable and realistic. Shaun explained the generator we had at the time would not support all the electric supply we would need for our home. He never tried to sell us on any brand in particular, just gave us the necessary numbers to support our home. The estimate and walk through lasted over an hour and it was FREE! We couldn't afford the process back then but did call Mr. Sparky after this winter (and the purchase of a bigger generator) and were pleasantly surprised to see they honored their quote! Shaun got back to us promptly and arranged to come back to our home and do the work himself. He remembered us and knew the layout of the house and what was needed.  He estimated the entire process to take about two hours.
Today's appointment was for 9:30 a.m., Shaun arrived at about 9:31. He was ready to work but had to await the Town Inspector to supervise the work. Shaun took care of contacting the inspector and our local electric supplier. Once the inspector arrived it was straight to work, no nonsense. Shaun worked quickly and explained what he was doing throughout. My 14 year old dog was also supervising and Shaun was friendly and comfortable around him.
The work was completed under the two hour estimate (approx 10:45) and the inspector gave his ok. Shaun cleaned up after himself and showed my husband how to initiate the system if there were a power failure.
I am pleased, very pleased with Mr. Sparky and Shaun in particular. I recommend their services highly for their honesty, knowledge, fairness in price, professionalism and friendliness.
