Mark and his crew did a great job, they hauled away all the debris and the trees look great.

Great service. Very responsive. Came out to give quote within 24 hours of call. Work was performed a couple days later exactly as promised. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. I will use them again.

I reached McCarthy tree service through Better Business Bureau's website. Mark McCarthy called in response to my email. He came to my house the next day to assess and provide a quote. He was able to do the work the next week, on the day I had requested. He arrived early with all the necessary equipment and manpower. I had two trees worked on -- one huge, and one large old silver maple. Neither tree was on my property, but together they formed a canopy over my front yard which grew closer to my house each year, and providing unwanted shade. McCarthy Tree Service gave me sunshine. Both trees looked so much better after selected limbs were removed. Each large limb was carefully lowered to the ground. The limbs were sawed into sizes that could be carried, and my neighbor was pleased to have the wood. As the limbs were being dropped to the ground, my rhody, picket fence and powerline went unharmed, even though they were all in the line of fire. A lot of care was taken during the cutting, lowering of limbs and with clean-up. I am one very pleased customer.

We called 5 or 6 tree services to request quotes. We had used another tree service company a year ago to remove 3 trees and thought he did a good job, but was not good at followup or returning calls. All responded to us (eventually) with quotes. McCarthy Tree stood out in several ways: quick response, quote was MUCH more reasonable than the rest and included not only tree removal but also stump grinding, cleanup, hauling off the debris, and leveling the area after the work was done. Add in the professional and friendly demeanor and who could ask for more? As a side note, our neighbors were having some trees removed from their yard on the same day that Mark was doing our tree removal. Our good sized tree was gone in a few hours, while the neighbors tree removal crew (4 men and plenty of equipment) were only half way done with their first tree. The next day while chatting with the neigbors we compared quotes. I thought they were going to cry! We are planning some landscaping for 2014 and we won't be calling around for quotes. McCarthy Tree will be our only call.

They did a good job. They climbed the tree to cut down the dead portion. They cut the trunk into fireplace lengths and left it for our use. They removed all the brush. I recommend them and will call them again if we need tree work done.

jMark responded promptly to initial inquiry and gave a very fair price in a written quote. Work was done by Mark and an assistant by climbing and carefully lowering sections of the limbs. They worked efficiently and did a great job. Absolutely no damage to house or deck. They even trimmed a few additional limbs at our request. Very courteous and pleasant. Would definitely use them again.

He was outstanding. He came when he said he would. He gave me an estimate and stuck exactly to that price. He did exactly what he said he would do. He did a little more than what he said he was going to do.
