+ -1 moreJohn is a window restoration expert, literally having written the book on the subject (see his website). I asked John to restore 2 wooden sashes that had been seriously neglected for many decades. He stripped them down fully (dealing with lead paint containment), reglazed all panes, painted and primed both sashes. They look beautiful now and function like they were brand new. He also gave me some advice on my repairs to the window jambs. If you have old wood windows that you'd like to keep instead of giving in to the vinyl trap, give John a call.
