I contacted Kristeen at First Portland Mortgage after two unsatisfactory mortgage experiences.  The first mortgage attempt was with a bank who after three months of frequent (and sometimes redundant) information requests and missed deadlines informed me that investments, my primary income source, was not acceptable even though this fact was clear from the beginning.  The second attempt with local mortgage company was lengthy, had many data requests sometimes repeated due to delays, and a loan offer whose terms were not market competitive.  The experience with Kristeen was just the opposite.  She assessed my situation quickly and accurately laid out the tasks and timetable needed.  She effectively managed the resources necessary to qualify, approve, and close my loan on a timely basis (45 days).  The terms were quite competitive.  Communication was very responsive, she made me feel like I was her only customer.  I highly recommend Kristeen as your mortgage advocate.
