Jim was so fantastic. He responded right away to the request, came and give an accurate estimate, and laid out exactly how his billing worked, what steps he was going to take on the job, and when and how long he anticipated the project was going to take and when he would be done. He gave clear advice on choosing the paint type and quality and was available for questions before he returned to begin. His work is top notch and the room and molding look brand new. I will be using him to work through the rest of my condo and would recommend him for any painting job. I work with tradesmen regularly and wish all of them had the skill and customer service Jim provides!

Always explained how he would proceed with each phase of the project. When I decided to change the color after he started he was fair and reasonable with added charges. I enjoyed working with him and very satisfied with the results.

Jim Abbott did an outstanding job on all three rooms he painted for us, and was dedicated to a precision. Jim was reliable and completed the job within the agreed time frame. All three rooms exceeded our expectations and his cleanup was immaculate. We would definitely recommend By the Numbers Painting for all interior painting needs and hope to use Jim for out next job.

It took 6 hours to remove barely two walls of wallpaper. My husband took over and removed an entire wall in 2 hours. The original estimate was no where near what the total cost would have been if we had continued with him. We thought that we would be paying on the estimate by the job, but then he said it would be by the hour and the estimate would not hold. Friendly person but we feel as though we were mislead.
