Small jobs welcome

"Im am very happy I found this company! Thanks Nick and Marshal for the outstanding work. Their quality/detail is unbeatable! They went above and beyond to meet my expectations. They had a tough job to fix a deck that someone else built so poorly. They explained what could be done, what could improve but also what couldnâ t be fixed entirely. The only thing was that my budged was tight, but I also requested other things outside the quote he gave me. The only thing I would do different next time was to purchase all the items in advance and ask them to install. That would create less trips for them to the store prior to initiate the service/project. Thanks Nick and Marshal with everything. I hope to hire you next time."

"I was searching for someone to install drywall on one living room ceiling constructed with old split lathe and plaster (plaster already removed). I browsed Home Adviser for possibilities and ran across Dependable David. His outstanding reviews from numerous customers stood out among all others. Surprised by such a consistent, positive experience from individuals that he worked for, I decided to give him a try. After his work was completed, here's my thoughts: Prompt arrival. Methodical, plans ahead. Steady worker. Cleans up messes. Completes work without delay. Good quality. Kept within prior estimated price. I'm happy to join all the others here and give a 5 out of 5 to David!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

An aboveground pool should be level within 1 inch—and it starts to become unsafe after a couple of inches. Any slope will lead to an uneven distribution of water, which will put pressure on your pool’s structure, wearing down the pool liner. In certain cases, it could cause your pool to collapse. Even if you’re within a safe window, you may still notice that the water level is uneven.

It's not a good idea to drain an aboveground pool into your yard since the pool water's chemicals can harm your plants and the surrounding ecosystem. Instead, it's best to drain the pool into an appropriate sewer so it can be processed at a water treatment plant. You might also be able to drain it into your storm drain, depending on your region. Check with your city to learn about any relevant regulations.

Coping is the material that lines the perimeter of a pool and seals the transition between the top of the pool wall and the water. Decking surrounds the poolscape and extends far beyond the water's edge to provide a safe walking and lounging area. In short, coping is the border between the decking and the pool itself.

If you put too much baking soda in your pool, your alkalinity will rise. That means you’ll need to take steps to lower your alkalinity. You can either add more water (which will require more chemicals because they’ll be diluted), wait for the alkalinity to lower naturally, or use a chemical like muriatic acid to lower it.

The best way to dissolve algae is to use pool shock. The shock increases the free chlorine levels in your pool, which in turn kills bacteria, microorganisms, and algae. You can opt for granulated shock that you mix with water or a premixed liquid shock.

Keep in mind that using pool shock is just one of the steps you need to take to get rid of algae from your pool. Unless you also brush, vacuum, and clean the filter, your algae problem may return.
