"Everything went great! Zach and Rick installed a new "tank tee" - the old one was very corroded - and there's no more drip. They were both just very professional and prompt. To be honest, CZ came by twice without my even speaking to anyone. Chuck's son Rick stopped by Tuesday afternoon to check things out and then he and Zach came by Wednesday morning (Zach texted me about 15 minutes beforehand but I didn't hear the text) to do the job. Zach estimated about an hour but it took about half that. So different than typical experiences with tradespeople when you call them and they don't call back! And their rate was very reasonable - $79/hour plus $115 for parts. I'd gotten quotes from a couple of other plumbers that were just ridiculous! CZ did charge for $32 for gas but I was glad to pay it in light of the other rates I was quoted. They were also referred by my next-door neighbor, who'd used them more than once. I'm attaching a pic of the new plumbing; it does look as though some of the old pipe was left behind, although I think some of the corrosion was brushed off. "We had water damage due to a leak in our roof. We contacted Octagon because of their glowing reports on Angie's List. I cannot say enough about the company. Jessica, the coordinator, was very professional and excellent at keeping me informed on who was coming and when. She assigned the project to Heather, one of the project managers. We were extremely pleased with Heather. She was incredibly professional and very well educated in water damage mitigation and mold remediation. She called to let me know when she was coming, arrived on time, inspected the damage, immediately knew we had a mold problem and began the work to remove the molded areas and installed a HEPA filter to clean out any spores floating around as a result of the work being done. She communicated in detail everything regarding the job -- what she saw, how she was going to fix it, etc.. etc.She even crawled up into our attic to see if there was any damage above the ceiling -- truly above and beyond. As this was an insurance claim, she worked with State Farm to ensure that everything that needed to be done for our benefit was discussed with and agreed to by our claims adjustor. I cannot say enough about both Heather and Octagon. Heather explained that the owner of the company hired professionals and everyone was expected to have at least one certification in one of the areas that Octagon provided service in. It was evident by my experience with all their employees that they hired and retained the best. I would most definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone."

"My review has multiple parts... The good: Friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, efficient. The plumber that showed up was great, showed up when they said (early even), was very knowledgeable about was wrong, and how they were going to fix it. The disappointing issue: After asking multiple times how much and told it was not going to be an inexpensive job was hit with a 435 bill. $160 was deemed as **emergency** which it was not. When I inquired about the charge was told any sewage call was deemed an emergency and followed with an explanation and a **sorry for the misunderstanding** there was no misunderstanding I was never told and to top it off it was not a sewage call it was leaking, clogged sink drain. So does that mean any call is an emergency sewage call?? Conclusion: The work was excellent!! but if you decide to use them please make sure to ask the appropriate questions. I went on blind faith and have to pay the price."
