"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."
"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."
" Richard and his crew were a pleasure to work with. We never had to hire a contractor before so we were very careful before making a decision. After obtaining many estimates and meeting many contractors we decided to hire NE Renovations. Our decision was based on all the good reviews on Angie's List and the price for the project and the fact that Richard seemed to really know his stuff and made us feel comfortable and never pressured us. I can honestly say I was never disappointed with anything from the beginning until the end of the project. All of his crew were very professional, knowledgable and polite. They did a beautiful job transforming a rear window into a door with a deck and stairs. You could never tell it was a window before. I never thought it would come out so great!
They installed a dryer vent to the outside from the second floor which works beautiful and also boxed in the vent to make it look like it belongs there. Not such an easy job when we realized how big our new washer and dryer were. Anthony painted both bathrooms and did a perfect job (and I am kind of fussy.) And they also painted my front porch deck and sides.
They installed a hand rail in my basement and bathroom cabinets. And they also fixed a gate in my backyard.
Everything went smoothly and was done professionally.
