Their prices are average, not really higher or lower than other local florists. Delivery has always been spot on, even when requesting specific delivery times. Until this last order of flowers, 3/1/13, I have never had any issues. I ordered a mix of white roses and pink asiatic lilies and they were delivered on time. However, all the white roses except 2-3 were dead by the following day. A few of the roses were essentially dead that same day (not a good way to celebrate a woman's 30th birthday). At the base of each rose (none of which were even open yet) the stem turned brown and some blackish in color and the flowers didn't survive 24-36 hours. We tried fresh water and some plant food, but nothing saved them or perked them back up. We called the florist and left a message (they were closed for snow) and they returned our call today saying they were currently too busy to fully respond, but...and I quote..."Plants are plants and things are things, and things don't always live as long as you'd like them to." I'm going to give them 2-3 days to see if they actually respond fully and I will update this with the final results...but I don't think it is unfair to spend $80 on flowers and expect them to survive 24 hours. Even the cheap ones at the local grocery store have a longer life span.
*UPDATE, 3/15/2013...Well, as of today there has not been a 2nd phone call or any effort made by All Occasion Florist to remedy the situation. The roses were shown to a florist in Gettysburg, PA who confirmed that it is a type of bacteria common to roses and that they never should have been used. According to them, the roses would have had a slightly brown hue that was almost like a rash when they were making the arrangement and that should have been an indicator then. They also stated a florist shop like All Occasion should have known better given their years of experience.
We sent flowers all the time and will not be using All Occasion again in the near future. They advertise a "guarantee" and then do nothing to back it up."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/pa/chambersburg/all-occasion-florist-llc-reviews-5521589.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"HORNBAKER'S LANDSCAPING","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"MD","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Bonnie H."},"reviewBody":"It always goes well from the small jobs of mowing to the large jobs of planting a whole new landscape."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/pa/chambersburg/hornbaker%27s-landscaping-reviews-6027421.htm"},"position":10}]}

Delivery of the shed went smoothly, quickly and professionally. The installer was amazingly skilled at getting it into my backyard in very tight quarters without damage to any trees or plants. The shed is very well built, constructed better than my own home. All of the windows and glass doors...
What I especially appreciated was the care taken to do the job right! He put in appropriate drains for downspouts, built up the flower beds with appropriate soil, fertilized all plants, and planted grass seed where bare spots were created from removal of dying trees. Because we are new to...

FAQs for plant watering projects in Robinwood, MD
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Lawn irrigation is the process of getting water to your lawn, grass and all, for it to grow. There are five main types of lawn irrigation methods:
Manual irrigation puts you in charge of the flow of water. Using a sprinkler head on your hose is best to evenly distribute the water across your entire lawn. This doesn’t take much time but requires you to be physically outside holding the hose.
Above-ground sprinklers attach to your hose and rotate or oscillate around your lawn. Since these are above-ground, they’ll need to be moved when it’s time to mow, and depending on the size of your property, you might need to move it around your yard for full coverage.
In-ground sprinklers are flush with the ground when not in use but pop up above the ground level when it's time to water the lawn. Piping for these sprinklers is all found underground, and there are different types of sprinkler heads for different uses and lawn sizes.
Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.
Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.
The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose. For example, rotating or oscillating sprinkler heads are more expensive than stationary ones, making the cost for one sprinkler head $2.50 to $30 each. Likewise, a yard that is 1/4 of an acre in size averages a total average price of $2,460; however, a one-acre yard averages a cost of $9,840.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
