I entered into Best Buy at Arundel Mills, in search of a new laptop. I arrived to the computer department where I began to look and compare the variety of computers. I was unsure of what I actually wanted so I was looking forward to receiving some advice, recommendations, etc. Unfortunately, none of that was provided. After 20 minuets of searching for someone to help me, I came across a manager by the name of Mark, I believe. He was very enthusiastic (typical salesman) but had no idea what he was talking about. Comparing laptops was more along the lines of *examine product tag*..."Yea this laptop is pretty fast, reliable, blah blah blah." There was no true knowledge of the product. He then proceeded to "hand me off" to one of the "experts". Again I was provided the same BS with the product tags and no TRUE knowledge of the product. I proceeded to go with one of the recommended laptops I had seen online. From there we headed to the register where I was, you guessed it, bombarded with extras. Services, anti-virus, software, buyback?, and other things of the sort. I allowed him to continue with his pitch, which was pretty unimpressive, and I kindly refused each and every one. I really wanted an honest opinion on laptops that have been actually used, examined, researched, or anything by the actual sales person. I am tired of being fed BS info on how this is such a great computer and how "of course this will suit your needs". They need to allow their salesmen to use, experience, and review the products they are selling to provide an honest opinion on WHY each is different or better than the other.
Description of Work: There was not many "services" performed. I suppose I was given "expert advice" and was provided someone to scan the products, swipe my credit card, and place the items in a bag (which is half true, they did not have bags at the register, I had to proceed to the entrance of the store to receive said bag). Also I was provided a nice cardio workout as I walked around the department looking for someone to assist me. /sarcasm
