Description of Work: I can't believe the hoops we had to jump through and our fridge still has no water line and we have no dishwasher. When the fridge arrived, even though we said that there was no existing line when booking AND PAYING FOR installation, the delivery guys informed me that they didn't know how to do it, they just deliver. Not their fault. The dishwasher was delayed "a few days." It's been over 5 weeks, the dishwasher was almost delivered yesterday but even though AGAIN it was in the order that it was a new install, the guy only knew how to put a dishwasher in where one previously existed. Again, it's not his fault that the dispatcher screwed up. He did inform me that a separate electric line needed to be run from the breaker box That'd cost extra. Both are reasonable. The quote came back EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! After ~7 weeks of waiting for the dishwasher and the company having all the pertinent information, really?!?! I will say that there was one sales rep I spoke with in the store that was beyond helpful. I think his name was Siddiq? He went out of his way to be helpful and correct the issues Pacific had accrued to that point. Literally, he is the only bright light in our dealings with this company and even still, we were there to deal with the lack of fridge installation and the dishwasher that had been delayed by a couple days, to a couple months, to almost 2 months! Stay away. There are so many places to get appliances. Even 0% apr over 18 months isn't worth a fraction of the crap we've dealt with. If I could give them less than a F, I would have.

This is about Pacific Kitchen and Home, inside Best Buy. The company is not listed by itself. We purchased a dishwasher, and we paid for installation. The company the contracted to, Quality Kitchens, could not do it. They wanted me to hire an electrician and then they would come and plug the dishwasher in for an installation fee of $135. I am trying to get my money back for the dishwasher, but Best Buy says they cannot refund until Quality Kitchens returns the dishwasher, which, so far they have not done. It has taken many phone calls and much wasted time. They general did not return calls (except once), and still this is unsettled.

I purchased a refrigerator, gas range and washing machine from Best Buy on 7/21/12 and schedule delivery and installation on 7/27/12. The appliances were not delivered because they did not schedule a maryland licensed plumber to come to my home and install the gas range. Delivery was rescheduled for August 10th. The appliances were delivered but the refrigerator was badly damaged and I refused delivery. The oven was installed but when I got home I found a dent on the front door of the oven. So Best Buy agreed to sent out new appliances and remove the dented gas range. Delivery was scheduled for August 16th. We called to verify delivery and we were told that the delivery was in fact never scheduled. So delivery was rescheduled for August 23rd. We called the night before to verify delivery and was told yes the refrigerator and the gas range were going to be delivered on August 23rd. However on August 23rd when they did not show up, my husband called and was informed that in fact the gas range was not being delivered because they did not have a maryland licensed plumber available to install gas range. At that point, my husband and I decided to cancel the order and go elsewhere.
Description of Work: The delivery and installation of a gas range and refrigerator.

They had great service. The guy really took care of me. He made followup calls about the delivery. The product cost me $1300. He was really good. The quality of his interaction and his followup were beyond belief. He was very customer oriented. He was pleasant and he knew his products. The delivery went really well. The two guys stuck with delivering it took it out to my front porch and brought it inside. They took the old one out. They had to take it apart to get it to the front door. They connected up the new one. They were very personable and customer oriented. I will use this company again in the future.
Description of Work: I got a refrigerator from Best Buy, a year ago.

THE MUSIC IS SO LOUD IN BEST BUY THAT IT IS DIFFICULT TO CONCENTRATE ON A SALES PERSON'S DISCUSSION. THE RETURN POLICY IS NOT FLEXIBLE FOR REPEAT PURCHASES. THE SYSTEM DID NOT WORK.
Description of Work: WE PURCHASED A DVD PLAYER, A SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM & PURCHASED SOME OF THE CONNECTING CORDS.

WHEN THE COMPUTER WAS HAVING TROUBLE, THE EMPLOYEE SAID IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SENT OUT AND THAT WE WOULD BE WITHOUT A COMPUTER FOR 4-12 WEEKS. THEY WOULD NOT PROVIDE A LOANER AND COULD NOT GIVE A MORE ACCURATE ESTIMATE ON THE TIME.
