Description of Work: A meter whcih measured radon gas was placed in the basement for for 24+ hours, Upon retrieving the meter, the seervice technician calibrated his findings whch show no radon. I am pleased not having to worry about radon anymore. Service technician was professional and very courteous

Description of Work: Be Aware That These Services Described On The Left Of This Page, For The Price Of $100.00 With The AL Coupon, Are NOT For A Radon Test To Be Preformed On A Home That Needs A Home Inspection Before Purchase! The REAL price is $135.00! NO COUPON! The person I spoke with on the phone was very polite, said that it clearly states on this page that this price is only for when he has more than one test to preform in the same area... not just for a single test. I do not see that stated AT ALL! Plus he said that there was a link to another Angie's Listing, somewhere on this same page, that states his REAL PRICE, but I do not see a link, and the website listed is not a working website! Seems like a very nice man, but a very confusing, deceptive Angie's Listing! Very unprofessional, and very " bait and switch!" And if it is just a confusing ad, I hope that it will be rewritten, and a working website included! When I put in "radon testing" on Angie's List search bar, this is the site that came up, and the price offered is $115.00, with $15.00 off for mentioning Angie's List. So, if that is incorrect, as the gentleman stated his REAL price for Radon testing is somewhere else on AL, then he and AL need to get this corrected.

United Radon Sciences offers the following services: United Radon Sciences does own and operate it's own professional Radon testing company ALPHACONTROL.NET This homeowner test service is special service, using professional electronic test equipment & EPA short-term real estate testing protocols, a set of Ion Chambers will be placed in the home for a very accurate radon test result, onsite in your own home! We will occasionally offer a follow up independent long-term Alpha Track to confirm our results.
We are not contractors who engaged in practice of remediation! We maintain a strict separation of services to keep any question of impropriety or integrity of test results for any purpose other than to comply with EPA guidelines or to evaluate health risks based on annual testing in a home.
