They were very good. I thought that the tech that they sent out was very competent and the prices were fair. Eric was very clean and conscientious and I’d use them again.

Eric was great! I called and spoke to him about our problem with a plug, and he was able to come out and fix it during the time slot we needed (which was great since both of us work and have crazy schedules). He was very prompt in getting to our house and his quote for fixing our outlet was exactly the same as he told us on the phone. He also took the time to explain what he was doing when he fixed the outlet which was great. He also took a look at another outlet issue were having and was able to give us a estimate on how much it would be to assess the problem which is great for us to know if want to get it fixed. We definitely would highly recommend this company and Eric. They are knowledgeable, punctual, reasonably priced, and very professional.

Erik was very courteous on the phone and scheduled an appointment for the following week. Understanding my hectic work schedule, he came promptly at 7am. He was very efficient and wrapped up the work quickly and cleaned up the small amount of debris he generated. I recommend this company.

We called J&G on Monday after our old ceiling fan came unhinged the day before. We wanted to install a new ceiling fan before the weekend, and Eric from J&G fit us into his busy schedule by coming first thing in the morning. Eric was punctual, efficient, friendly and did a great job installing the fan. We are very happy with the service, and will definitely call on J&G Electric again should any electric issues arise. This was about as perfect as a service experience can be. Within hours of submitting a description of the project on Angie's List, I got a reply from the company, and the next day the electrician called. He was able to provide a quote over the phone. While it wasn't a particularly low quote (not particularly high either), it was fixed cost, which was comforting. The electrician was extremely friendly, and didn't mind at all that it took me 2-3 weeks to get back to him to schedule a service date. He arrived promptly, and cheerfully inspected the work to be done. He finished quickly, and everything looks fantastic. Other electricians balked at the work to be done, because of the need to attach a heavy chandelier to an old ceiling, but this electrician did not have a problem at all. A word on price - J&G was not the lowest quote we received, but we felt the most comfortable with them, and it was absolutely well worth it, so I give them an A for price, too. I would gladly use J&G again for any electrical needs.

ELECTRICAL I HAD WORKMEN COMING WHO NEEDED OUTDOOR OUTLETS AND THEY FOUND NO POWWER TO THEM. THE OUTLETS WERE ON A DECK WE HAD ADDED A FEW YEARS AGO. NOTHING ANY OF US DID WORKED. I CALLED ANGIES LIST, SELECTED THE COMPANY AND LEFT A MESSAGE. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY I HAD A CALL BACK. LUCKILY, ERIC WAS JUST A FEW MINUTES AWAY AND WAS HERE IN A FEW MINUTES. HE DETERMINED THAT THERE HAD NEVER ANY POWER TO THE OUTLETS. AFTER A SEARCH HE FOUND THE APPROPRIATE WIRES IN A POST DESIGNED TO HOLD A LIGHT. HE DID THE NECESSARY WORK AND MADE THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS AND VERY SOON WE HAD POWER. THE OTHER WORKMEN RETURNED ANDARE NOW BUSY AT THEIR JOB. ERIC WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND THOROUGH. HE KEPT ME APPRISED OF THE PROGRESS THROUGHOUT.I WAS A FIRST TIME USER OF ANGIE'S LIST AND WILL BE USING IT FOR ANY FUTURE PROBLEMS. WHAT A GREAT SERVICE. THANK YOU. MD

He was very clear on the phone ahead of time describing what he would do, even advising me on how to fix an outlet problem by myself so I wouldn't have to pay him to do it...on the day of the service he explained and showed me what he would do and then completed the work efficiently. Very professional, and very nice - a great combination!

I found J&G Electric on Angies list yesterday. I spoke to Eric Sut. Eric came out today and fixed a number of items for me. I was very impressed by his professionalism and how knowledgable he is, as well. I highly recommend using J&G Electric and I will be contacting them again for additional electric problems.

Called late one afternoon after finding on Angie's List. Fit me in at 7:00am the next morning. Arrived on time; was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and affordable. Have finally found a good electrician.

Found the problem and fixed it within an hour.

Eric answered my call and took my information, then promptly got back to me after he finished the job that he was currently doing. Eric set up an appointment with me for the following day, but found that he was in the area just an hour or two later, and stopped by the office suite. He carefully looked over all my lights and asked some questions, he was cheerful, kind and knowledgable. He gave me an estimate right on the spot! I am not able to hire contractors for work in our office suite without permission, but if I was able to hire someone, I would hire J&G Electric, just based on the good nature and friendliness of Eric!

The electrician was prompt, courteous, professional and prepared for any problem that might occur while replacing each outlet. The service was completed in a short amount of time and each outlet now is in complete working order. At my asking, the electrician also took the time to check my electrical box in the basement to see if it was up to service and answered several questions I had about our basement wiring. Extremely pleased with the service - an outstanding electrician.

We had a series of outlets that suddenly went out in our kitchen. After waiting days for another electrician who didn't answer the phone and/or never responded to our messages, we tried J&G. What a difference!!! When we called we immediately spoke with Eric, the electrician. He was IN the house, FINISHED, and OUT the door about 3 hours from our phone call! SUPERB, professional service. Very thorough. Super-nice guy. Resolved our problem. Was fine with our dog. Unbelievably quick and responsive service. And charged us less than he initially indicated over the phone. Could NOT have been a better experience! Absolutely fantastic! J&G contact info is now a permanent part of our electrical box - we won't be calling anyone else.

AMAZING!!!! From my initial phone call on April 5th, I received a phone call back and service provision was explained as well as costs. It was very clear that he was not going to try and take advantage! The price quoted was 226 for the work I would possibly need and additional costs that could come into play were also explained. He (I think his name is John:?) was super flexible and agreed to come to my home in the VERY early morning as I had to be to work at 7am. He arrived a few minutes late, but I gave an A for punctuality because he apologized profusely and worked quickly to fix the problem with my outlets. He came into the home equipped with shoe covers and asked permission to enter into parts of my home. He also allowed me to use a angie's list coupon that I wasn't aware of and he was just all around friendly, kind and great at what he does.

I bought the Angies List coupon for $110 which provided me with 2 hours of an electrician. I obviously forgot about it so 2 weeks before the end of the year and the expiration, I called to schedule an appointment. J&G were very kind and told me they would honor the coupon also after expiration. So we scheduled for January. Eric came round and we discussed 4 different options. He told me what could be done in the 2 hours, and I told him my priorities. He also clearly explained where he would need to make holes in the walls, and where he could fish the wires. He set to work immeadiately and managed to do 2 of the 4 jobs (more than I had expected). He also did a further small thing out of courtesy (changed a breaker in the panel). He left the place clean and the jobs were perfectly done. I was very happy and he was very professional and pleasant to deal with.

Eric, an employee of J&G electric, was highly professional and extremely capable in performing the work. When I made the appointment for the work on the telephone, he made an excellent recommendation on the purchase of the light fixtures (which I did at Home Depot). After that installation was completed, he immediately checking a ceiling fixture which had been going on & off for unknown reasons----he found that it had to be rewired and promptly repaired it. I have previously been unhappy with electricians I hired for small jobs (including one who had told me not to worry about the lighting fixture that kept going on & off, but Eric at J & G Electric will now be someone we can call in the future and recommend to others.

Overall, an excellent experience. Eric arrived on time, listened to me described the problem and then he went step by step to deduce the problem. As he went along, he explained to me what he was doing in plain English. Eric was a pleasure to deal with and will definitely give him a call if I have any electrical problems in the future.

We asked Eric from J&G Electric to give us an estimate over the phone a while ago. After we describe our situation, it was a pleasant surprise that the estimate came lower than the projected cost our inspector had given us. Eric from J&G was polite, punctual, and professional. He took time explaining to me the work in detail on the sub panel and also showed me that the neutral bus wires are now isolated. We will definitely use his service again for our future electrical work.

J&G arrived on time. Replaced the outside security bulbs. One set of bulbs was set extremely high. They used a ladder with no problem. Then they replaced my front porch light. I had already purchased it. They replaced it with the new one. Cleaned up all the debris. Very pleasant experience with J&G Electric (Eric). Will use them for future electrical projects in my home.

A light fixture in basement stopped working. My husband attempted to install a new fixture but with no success. Eric took my call, was very friendly and responsive, and we set a time for him to come out. He came, fixed problem very quickly and because of that gave us a nice discount. He is bright, skilled and very professional. Great experience all the way around.

Joey responded to my request the same evening, and Eric called me the very next morning as promised. Eric scheduled the appointment for the next day and showed up on time. The primary purpose for the visit was to replace the pull mechanism for the light on a ceiling fan, and he made that repair efficiently. While doing so, I mentioned that I also had two dimmer switches that didn't work. He happened to have one with him, so he replaced one of the switches on the spot. I was so impressed that I scheduled a follow-up visit for the second switch next week. When it came time to pay, he applied the Angie's List discount without even having to be prompted. On top of his efficiency, Eric was pleasant and courteous. J&G would definitely be my "go to" company for the next electrical repair/installation. Highly recommended.
