Eric is absolutely the best!! He is very personable, provides excellent service and has excellent customer-facing skills. After evaluating multiple reviews, I decided to contract J&G Electric. I called for an estimate and Eric was able to provide it over the phone. He also sent a written estimate and was very prompt in making additions and modifications. He was able to answer all my questions and provide solutions. I had a list of about 8 tasks which required two full days.He arrived as expected and after each task, he would clean up the area before proceeding to the next task. If we encountered any issues, he addressed them immediately. After he installed the generator inlet, he monitored my generator test procedures to ensure everything worked properly. Overall, I found him to be very reliable, honest, competent and without a doubt, would definitely contract him again, and recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

The whole experience was great. Eric was able to come to my house within just a few days of my call. When he learned I would probably need a new switchplate he gave me options so that the replacement would would match my decor. He arrived right on time (calling ten minutes ahead to alert me that he was on his way). His demeanor on the phone and in person was positive and professional. He even put booties on so as not to soil my carpet! He explained what he was doing every step of the way. He seemed safety conscious. He was patient with my many questions (even those unrelated to this job.) His charges matched the estimate exactly. I have no basis for judging the price but I would definitely use J & G Electric again because of my experience with Eric.

Fantastic. Eric is professional, personal, efficient, and every other good adjective you can think of. To be honest, we didn't price-shop because Eric was so helpful and professional on the phone. So we can't really comment on price except to say he prices by the job, so you know exactly what you're paying up front. We ditto all the other excellent reviews here - and reading them is what led us to J&G.

Our Electrician, Eric, was simply wonderful. He was on time, professional, pleasant, helpful and informative. Actual charges for the work were exactly in line with his over the phone estimate. If Angie's List had a rating higher than a "5" we would give it.

We called the company two minutes before closing, and to our surprise Eric answered. He was very pleasant given it was the end of the day. He made and appointment with us for the following week. He called us the morning of the appointment just to verify our appointment time. He was on time actually a few minutes early to relocate an outlet for microwave in our new home. Thanks J & G!

From start to finish Eric is professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We needed a few fixes as well as the addition of recessed reading lights in the bedroom. He placed the lights perfectly and was spot on with his recommendations.

My regular electrician couldn't come out the week I wanted to have my chandelier taken down so I called J&G. So glad I did. The electrician showed up right on time and couldn't have been better. It was a really simple job, but he had it down in less than 15 min or so and only charged me $50 because it was such a small, quick job. Very impressed he would come over to my place and charge me so little considering it was such a small job. Will definitely use them again.

I called on a Saturday morning. I was expecting to leave and message and was pleasantly surprised when Eric answered and we scheduled an appointment. I received a phone call before the scheduled appointment time from Eric letting me know that he was on his way. Eric was prompt, courteous, professional, and friendly! He took care of the items that I needed addressed and looked over a few additional things that I was concerned about. I will use J & G Electric again!

Eric and I had a somewhat lengthy discussion about the electrical problem prior to our appointment. He arrived exactly on time and had all the parts specific to the problem with my chandelier. His phone diagnosis was correct. His work was careful and efficient. He is professional, very personable and clearly knowledgeable about electrical repair and maintenance. He gave me very specific estimates for future work I am contemplating. I will use him again in the future and have already given the company name to neighbors. An excellent experience altogether.

Everything about the visit went smoothly. Eric arrived on time-- we had a few little jobs that needed to be done in the kitchen and family room. Eric brought the materials and got right to work. All throughout he explained what had happened to make the lights stop working. He replaced the under cabinet light and repaired the ceiling fan light. He even put in light bulbs! On top of that he wanted to go to a light shop and get a different fluorescent bulb so the color of the light would match the ones we already had!The repairs ended up being less than the quote.

The electrician quickly determined what the problem with our light was and easily fixed it. He even offered two solutions for the fix at the same price - installation of a new fixture at a later date or replacement of the florescent light for two bulbs on the same date. He was extremely courteous and seemed very knowledgable about the issue. The repair took less than an hour. I was also able to make an early appointment, which was great because I work during the day, and it's hard sometimes to schedule repairs around work. It's been several weeks now and the light works fine without any flickering. I will definitely call J&G for my next electrical issue.

I called J & G and spoke with Eric. I described to him what had transpired. He told me he thought he knew what happened and that he could help me fix it over the phone. He let me know that there was an outlet that had been tripped and it has a "reset" button on it. Once I push that reset button the electricity would be restored. I found the outlet in a bathroom in the basement and hit the button. Power is back! I was so impressed that he walked me through solving this issue. It's that type of customer service that draws in new customers. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Do not call anyone else -- this is the best electricalcompany. Eric indeed answered his phone at 7 am on a Saturday morning, with a pleasant voice and wise advice. When he came to my home to perform the work, he was professional, personable,honest, and extremely competent. Bravo!

Eric showed up on time -- in fact, he called and was able to come a bit early. Very professional and pleasant to work with. Looked at a number of fans that were not working properly for different reasons and quickly determine the problem with each. He gave me an estimate for fixing each. Most required him to order parts, but he fixed the one where he had the part on his truck. Then left me with a printed estimate for the others. Overall, a great experience at a very reasonable price. I'm a little reluctant to say too many good things about this company for fear that it might make it harder to get them back in the future!

Joey came to our house for a very thorough estimate visit. His estimate was not the most or least expensive of the three we got for this work, but he was very knowledgeable and detail-oriented and made excellent suggestions about how to route wires and get what we wanted done the right way. His work took longer than we both expected, but he was largely on time and all of the projects he worked on were done perfectly. There were some added and unexpected costs, but we rolled with them because we felt like he was doing great work and didn't leave much if any patching/painting left to do. He is an excellent electrician, delivers excellent work, and is an extremely nice person to boot.

Finally! An electrician to keep! Eric was awesome. I liked that he priced the work by the job instead of time and materials. Don't feel that I got ripped off like I have experienced with other electricians in the area. Eric also changed hard to reach lightbulbs and an outlet at no additional charge. Really appreciate the professional and personable manner in which he conducted himself from the phone call and throughout the work visit. Will definitely use him again.

Overall great service, they checked everything I wanted, each outlet one by one and the circuit breaker box. I live in a condo and I wanted to make sure the wiring was good to go.

Eric was professional and friendly from the beginning of the phone call with him up until he left after providing services. Although my project was not in a rush, he was able to get to us in a reasonable time frame for a preset price and finished the work efficiently and of high quality. I especially liked having a preset price, as it eliminated a day of only getting a quote, and the factor of a price increase due to our location (which we have previously experienced with other electricians). As it is an older home we have a few other electrical things to be checked and fixed in the future, as well as further remodeling, and fully intend to use J & G Electric, and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Eric was awesome! He was super responsive and friendly. I was running late getting home. He called to check if I was on the way and then waited the ten minutes until I got home. He even greeted me with a smile! Pretty impressive considering I know time is money for contractors, not to mention it was 102 out! Turns out my fix was really really easy (almost embarrassingly so) and he therefore offered for the service call to be free. I opted to pay him regardless since he had been so friendly and patient. I will definitely use him again when it comes time to install our ceiling fan. He explained everything very clearly and I would definitely feel comfortable using him for bigger projects in light of the expertise he obviously has in the field.
