Overall, I had a great experience and was happy to be able to get the outlets replaced since I had been thinking about it for some time. The electrician arrived on time and was very professional. He collected all the old electrical outlets in a bag as he went, so I didn't have much clean up to do afterward. He also pointed out that I had forgotten to mark one of the outlets in the kid's room as one that needed replacement and I appreciated him mentioning it since it had been an oversight on my part. The only hitch was a slightly inefficient system for setting up the appointment; in email correspondence they asked for the same information I had provided when setting up the Angie's List deal (in fact, I could see the information they requested was listed earlier in the email thread) and it took a series of three back-and-forth emails to set up the appointment even though I provided them no new information. I'll need to get some additional electrical work done and will likely use CET again based on my very positive experience with them the first time.

Electrical box was a bit loose so Alan went into attic and fixed. I would call them again for larger jobs.

It took a little longer than originally anticipated because the old fan was hard to remove, but Todd just kept patiently working until it was done. I was impressed that he was willing to return the same day after I accidentally missed him the first time he came by. Technician was very professional, courteous and did a great job.

When the installer came out I was advised that it may do a lot of damage to the ceiling to install the recessed lights. I appreciated their honesty. I decided not to have the lighting installed for this reason.

We were very satisfied. Scheduling wasn’t difficult and they came out quickly. The work was neat and the devices are accomplishing what they are supposed to do.

This went very well and I'll definitely contact them again for more Elect. projects in our house. The two men on the job had great knowledge of what they were doing, suggestions of where to put the lights (kitchen work areas, etc.) and did not have to make excessive holes in the ceiling. They were decisive and wise on where they cut so they didn't make mistakes and do more than what was necessary.

They did a great job. My experience with them was very good. The price was very good.

Everything went very well. The electrician arrived when expected and got right to work. The hardest part of the job was installing a new circuit in our kitchen. He showed a lot of ingenuity in determining how to route the wires, as there were a lot of HVAC ducts in that area. When he did the initial inspection, he felt that the total job we asked for might take over a day to do -- however, he was able to complete the job in one day. We feel he did an excellent job and wouldn't hesitate to use CET again in the future.

The electrician arrived on time and provided the service in a friendly, professional manner. He covered the information we needed for the installation and asked a few questions to ensure we received the service we wanted (one lamp had to be placed in a slightly different location that the previous light). This was the second service provided to us by this company (We previously had four recessed lamps placed in the kitchen.). The same electrician provided service both times. We used the services of this company a second time because of the high level of service provided during the initial work. The work was completed for approximately $100 LESS than the estimate. I highly recommend CET for electrical services.

I was easily able to arrange the appointment via email. CET was extremely responsive to my request for service - and I was a brand new customer. I emailed them on a Monday, my appointment was on Tuesday morning. they arrived within the expected window of time. The technician courteously wore shoe covers - even though I indicated he did not have to. He quickly and accurately assessed the situation, came prepared with the right replacement pieces (due to the fact that the office wisely had me not only describe the problem and the "equipment" but also requested I send them a picture), and repaired the switch. In addition, the technician took the time to explain the cause of the problem and advised me how to avoid it in the future and in other areas of the house. I was very satisfied with the service and will call CET for any electrical work I need done.

It went really well. The serviceman came in, slipped covers over his shoes, and got to work straight away. He quickly find the problem and relaxed the broken motor with a new one. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. All in all, it was a very good experience. The repairman was really nice and respectful of my house, and he got the job done lickety split. What more can you ask for?

It was fine. I remember how personable the gentleman was that came to the house.

No disrespect to the other Certified Electrical Technologies technicians that have been praised in other reviews, but Dale Mossburg is the best! It was a snowy/rainy day and the first thing he did was put protective coverings on his shoes to keep the carpets and house clean. We were already off to a good start! Dale took the time to go over the services I requested during my phone consultation and gave good advice on a few tweaks to what I wanted to do. He then set off to work after we agreed about everything that needed to be done. He also went above and beyond and found a very cost effective and non-intrusive way to install the 3rd interconnected smoke detector on our main level. Dale was very professional, efficient, and didn't waste time completing the overall job. He even got along with my curious dog who kept checking in on him! When Dale was finished he swept up and cleaned the work area and we completed the paperwork. I immediately asked for his card. I will be calling on Certified Electrical in the future, if needed, and requesting Dale. Highly recommend!

I wasn't home when the service for the big deal from Certified Electrical Technologies happened, my husband was here but I think it went very well. They got the job done and were professional. They charged me more than the 99 dollars for the big deal because I believe that we needed to get another part for the fan. We were charged extra and I really can't compare it to anything else.

Rob did a great job, was professional and work was done in a timely fashion.

I called CET on a Friday and Steve took my call, asking me appropriate questions about what I needed to be done and answering my own questions to my satisfaction. He then scheduled my appointment for the following Monday within a 3 hour window. I received a reminder call the day before my appointment and a call from the electrician a half hour before his arrival. David arrived within that time and promptly set to work on my bathroom outlet. He finished quickly and showed me what he had done and then I showed him my other non-working outlet, outside. I expressed concern that I may have caused it to not be working as I thought I may have damaged the underground wiring when a few years ago I had driven one of the support stakes into the ground near the outlet when I put up a fence around some shrubs nearby, and when I went to remove the fence I couldn't get this stake out. But David determined that the outlet had just gone bad due to any number of causes, such as insects getting into it. He even showed me what looked like some ants stuck to a piece of tape on the outlet. This seemed reasonable to me as we had had an ant infestation in that area a couple of years ago. He even pulled out the stake for me. I also asked him questions about using the outlet for a heated birdbath that I wanted to connect to this outlet and he explained the pros and cons of using an outdoor extension cord with it. After hearing his warning about safety issues I should consider, I decided against installing the birdbath heater. I appreciated David taking the time to discuss this issue with me. Overall, I was favorably impressed with my first experience using CET, and even though I had not gotten price bids from other electrical contractors, the cost of this job was within the pricing I was quoted initially by Steve on the phone, and it seemed reasonable.

The electrician arrived on time and was very professional, helpful and easy going. He explained in detail what he was going to do, and went about the process with efficiency and care (something I appreciated since I was paying by the hour). He performed his job well, and I was extremely happy with the result. The whole process took just about 2.5 hours from the time he walked in the door until he left.

The technicians put together the new fan that we purchased for our bedroom. They did a great job installing the new one. They cleaned up afterwards and were quick and speedy.

He came to give an estimate. I was quoted $1000.00 on top of the $449.00 that I had already paid. Before the appointment I e-mailed about an outside GFI I needed replaced. He told me it would cost more because the GFI was outside. I also inquired about replacing a kitchen light fixture. He said it would be the cost of a service call plus an hour of labor which was about $200.00. My appointment was schedule from 11-2, but he called me at 9 and said he was running early. I rearranged my schedule and raced to get home. I will not use them again and I will not recommend them.

I did get them from Angie’s List and they were awesome. They were very good. They were responsive and they got there very quickly. I called a bunch of people, I needed them at a certain time because I had the next thing going and they came. The guy gave us recommendations, he was efficient, and he cleaned up. He was great. The price seems reasonable but I haven’t compared them.

Great. Would use them again.
