Alan arrived on time, set to work, installed the ceiling fan, and cleaned up all the packaging materials. WONDERFUL! Great job! The "A" ratings that I gave for Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Professionalism are for him. I gave this an "Overall" rating of "B" for two reasons. First, I agree with some of the other comments about the staff who answered the telephone. They made me feel stupid. Yes, I am a female; and, I admit I don't know a lot of the terms of the business. But, work with me, please. Second, in comparison to some of the other deals on Angie's List for installation of a ceiling fan, the price was more. The pricing for the replacement of an existing ceiling fan was on par with other companies. Bottom line - would I call them again? Yes, ABSOLUTELY. Alan did an EXCELLENT job. I am very pleased. I have no complaints with the quality of the work performed.

The install was very clean, and fast. Installation of the new wall box, switch, and movement of an existing wall switch were all done with no additional charge. The fan is balanced and noise free.

It went very well. They came out and they were very professional. He explained to me how this light fixture that is a typical builder installed light fixture is very bad, recommended that we get rid of the rest of them, did a full inspection starting with the panel and going throughout and we also talked about possibly doing some upgrades of some lighting in our house such as maybe some basement reset lighting, things like that. So yes, very, very good company. When we were talking about lighting fixtures, he was telling me, "You know, anything that you can do yourself, just to keep the price down," You could tell he wasn't trying to sell - like for example, we want to put a light fixture up in our living room where there is no ceiling junction. And he was explaining that there would be a couple of holes that they would have to do and instead of doing it themselves at their hourly rate, he suggested that, "You can do that easily yourself." So you can tell they're not trying to get as much money out of people as they can. You can tell they're being honest. We're thinking this fall of having them come over and do a good six or eight hours worth of - we want to do some upgrading of our electrics.

I purchased a Big Deal to install 8 recessed lights. The technician arrived on time and quickly started the requested work. The technician explained what he was doing each step and answered any questions I had. The lights were installed well and the job was a success.

Everything went great! The technician was very pleasant and efficient.

The inspection went as expected and accomplished what we needed.

It went perfect. He demonstrated how the new fan worked and didn't leave a mess!

The technician arrived on time and was very professional and very fast. He took down all of the prior units and wired in new connectors for the new units, plugged them all in and tested the system. So far all is good, no false alarms or other problems.

We had a pinhole leak in a water line which resulted in water dripping into the electrical box We had another electrician inspect the box. He identified the leak and I shut off the water to the broken line. He then insisted that we need a new box since the box had been wet and it would corrode. For every major expense I always obtain a second opinion. The CET electrician came out the day after I called them. He was on time and assessed the situation in a through and efficient manner. He determined that the water had not done any significant damage and the box is still serviceable. A replacement is not required. He did caution that a circuit breaker may need to be replaced in the future.

The technician, Dale, telephoned first and arrived at my home at the scheduled time. He was friendly, totally professional, and knew exactly what had to be done. And, he had so much patience! I purchased a ceiling fan from a company that allowed me to choose which components I wanted with it so there was the ceiling fan itself, the blades, and the remote control all in separate packages with lots of little packets of screws and bolts and wires to open. Dale spent over 2 hours installing everything. When he finished, it worked perfectly. I was very happy with Certified Electric Technologies and plan to contact them in the near future with some additional electrical work that I need to have done.

The technician was in and out. He did a professional job and we are very happy with the fans.

Well the scheduler was not very customer friendly. The technician however, was personable and explained the problem. The advertisement is ambiguous. The inspection you buy is actually a point inspection that the company has predetermined. The inspection is, quite frankly, worthless and a solid waste of my money. I pad for a company to come do an inspection and not at all attempt to repair my original problem. The company was more concerned with the point inspection than the reason I needed an electrician. I will never recommend this company nor request their services again. I did find a company that satisfied my electronically needs. I really hope Angies list has better services. That one was not good. I will try again with hopes of a better result.

Very Well. Gentleman did a professional job. handled work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. Some additional effort needed to be made to accomodate the job, including running some additional wiring. Gentleman assessed the requirements quickly and made the necessary adjustments.

First rate. Got the job done quickly and thoroughly and answered all of my questions about other possible lighting issues. Also a nice guy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Gary the owner who made my appointment over the phone was also very helpful.

The provider called before showing up, came on time, and did the work well. The overall cost was lower than I had been quoted over email, which made me very happy :) Great experience with this company.

Service was very professional. He replaced the defective GFI in the master bathroom, then tested other GFIs on every floor of my house. No repairs were needed. He then applied a compound that essentially caulked the external entrance of the electric service into the house to prevent water entry. He was in and out quickly.

Even though I could not use Certified Electrical Technologies for my project, I was very impressed by their professionalism and willingness to provide (free) advice, even on a job they were not bidding on. If I lived in an area they service, I would have used them.

The inspection went well. We found out that our electrical panel had ten burnt out neutrals. Our new panel was install by a contractor after we had experienced a house. Having the new information we were able to contact the contractor to get the panel fix.

The service provider was very punctual and provided excellent service. It only took 30min to replace ceiling fans.

I contacted CET on a Sunday for a price on installing a ceiling fan on a cathedral ceiling. I received a response in an hour. I than set up an appointment for a Friday between 10-2. On Friday, they called at 12:56 letting me know they were on their way and were to arrive in 20 minutes. Once there, the job went fine. They identified a problem that the builder had done and corrected it. After that, they went through the run down on the fan and the job was over. A great job! I will call again if the need comes up.

My original appointment had to be postponed because the technician was sick. When I called to see if someone was on standby because I had taken a day of leave to meet the technician, the customer service was awful. I was called a jerk and talked down to. I was told to go to work even though it was already too late. As a result, I gave a low rating for professionalism. In terms of the work performed after I had rescheduled, the service was top notch. Dale was fantastic. He got right to work made sure everything was done correctly. He showed me how to operate everything. I can't say enough how good he was. He was professional and apologized for how I was treated by the customer service rep. I would have Dale come again anytime electrical services are needed.
