Outstanding. The electrician was on time, patient and explained everything. Installation of my dining room lights as well as two hall lights went smoothly. Installed a much needed outlet in upstairs hallway. Provide recommendation on lights for the laundry room which he will come back to install once I have purchased the lights. I would highly recommend CET.

Technician was in and out within an hour. No issues found during the inspection, which kind of surprised me, but I suppose that's a good thing.

It went very well. The electrician was on time, patient, and explained everything. He was realistic in terms of improvements that needed to be done for safety reasons and he let us know what could wait. He did not try and over sell us which we appreciated.

CET gave me a 4-hour window which I wasn't too happy about because customers generally want to know an exact time but they responded to my initial inquiry and had a fare price which is why I decided to use them. The tech called 30min before showing up and was right on time at 9am. He was professional, friendly, and did the work in 2 hours which was what I expected. Fan installations are easy but this fan was on a 14ft ceiling which complicated the matters. He did a great job and I would use them again.

Stephen at CET did a great job installing three ceiling fans at my house. Two of the ceiling fans were new installations and one was on a sloped 12 ft ceiling without access to the attic. He was very courteous and cleaned up everything. He also was very communicative throughout the process. I've used CET in the past for other electrical issues and I would definitely use them again.

Rob was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, efficient, professional and easy to work with.

I have used CET twice for electrical work in my home. The first time I used them to replace a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. The second time to hang two florescent lights in the laundry room and fix the light switch wiring in the bathroom. The same electrician was sent out both times and he did a great job. He was very pleasant and professional to deal with and did the work in a very timely manner. I will definitely use them again for any electrical service that I need and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Went great. I can not say enough good things. I had recently gotten a high electric bill and the lights were flickering. The found the source of the problem (it was the electric companies problem).

I had to run to Home Depot to get materials which eat into my time. So I had to pay for an extra hour

It went pretty well. The technician listened to our concerns, and paid particular attention to those problem areas. Happily there were no dangers that he found, and he provided us a lot of good information about how to address a few of the issues we mentioned, and took time to clean up one bad receptacle for us. He also counseled us on needing to replace our smoke detectors.

I will changing appliances and add a couple of plugs. He explained everything very well. I am happy.

He checked all the electrical. He explained that all the GFCI in each bathrooms and the mulitple GFCI outlets were an over kill. He toke the time to explain how GFCI works.

I showed the representative the outlets to be replaced and the representative began working, replacing a few outlets from 2 prong to 3 prong. Then, an issue came up. The electrical outlets were not grounded, so all the outlets would need to be replaced using a different type of outlet called a GFI. The representative informed me these outlets cost extra and that he would have to check if this was included in the deal. After checking with management, I was informed by the representative that it would cost extra, $15-20 per outlet...which multiplied by 25 outlets (as part of the deal) =$375-500 extra in costs. After discussing an alternative option to replace the outlets, which was even more costly, I was left with the option to either be refunded my money ($399 deal) or to go through with the outlet replacements with the extra added cost. After quick research, I found that I could purchase the outlets for cheaper on Amazon. By providing the parts, I would be able to lower the added cost to only +$200, which was still much more than I expected. So to be clear, I was offered the option to get a full refund, or to continue with the work on a later date once the outlets I ordered off amazon arrive. I chose to continue the work with the added cost because of a few reasons. A) The representative seemed very knowledgeable on the subject. B) Some of the work had already begun, which would have to be undone if I chose the refund. C) I had already purchased the coupon, so I thought I was getting a deal anyways. The work took a little over an hour to do. During that period, I asked about a minor electrical problem that I have been having in my garage. I was charged 1 hour to search for the problem which I thought I had, when really, all we ended up doing was creating a dummy switch to shut off use of switch. We also changed one switch. At the end, my bill was: $399 deal for outlets, $100/hr troubleshooting, and a few bucks extra for a switch replacement. Additionally, I paid only $200 for outlets on amazon (which saved me money), which brings the grand total to $700. In hindsight, I feel like THIS IS BAIT & SWITCH TACTIC. I was baited into buying $400 coupon and then I ended up paying $700. The fine print DID NOT MENTION EXTRA COSTS FOR 2 PRONG CONVERSION TO---->3 PRONG. Would not use this company again.

Electrician called to announce he was arriving and asked if he could arrive 15 minutes early. We reviewed the work to be done, including altered aspects of the original quote. He performed the work quickly and did not do additional scheduled work because he found easy and cheap alternatives. He wound up coming in more than 100 dollars less than the quote. Very professional service.

I have used this company for several electrical jobs and they are always well done. I feel they are no longer as inexpensive as they used to be, but the quality of the work is good. my house is covered by one electrician who has come to be familiar with the house. The same electrician comes each time which I like.

Everything went quickly and smoothly. The nice technician also caulked the fixture around the brick to help with dampness - something that hadn't occurred to me.

Courteous and professional. Called early prior to leaving ensuring we were hope and still good for job. Installed and cleaned up well after themselves. Provided advise on maintenance.

When the electrician arrived, I had to make a decision - Do I replace the light fixture with a new one or do I replace the ballast. I already had the new light fixture, and he had a new ballast on his truck? He said it would take more time to install the new fixture instead of the ballast. Because I knew this was true, I told him to replace the ballast. He quickly did it, and after he left, I returned the light fixture to the store. I saved money on the installation. He could have installed the light fixture, and his company would have made more money, but he didn't. CET is a top quality company. They have provided me with quality in the past, and I would strong recommend them to anybody. ( Customer Note: If you have this situation, buy the ballast yourself and let CET install it).

The installer was very efficient in replacing the fan and was very pleasant to talk to. He arrived in the time frame given and called about 30 minutes before to say he was coming.

This company was sent to me by my Home warranty company. The individual that was sent was very incompetent and disrespectful. I was asked what happened but the "electrician" had his own scenario. He kept repeating himself to the point that it became gibberish. He broke a $10 light bulb while attempting to unscrew it. He did not even replace the light bulb with a cheap one. He simply left the broken light bulb in the light fixture and screwed the globe back on. He threatened to call my warranty company and say I refused service until I told him that I would let them know he was lying. After wasting half a day of work I spoke with my warranty company and they sent him on his way without hesitation. Needless to say this company will never step foot in my home again. I was able to find another company right away that resolved all of my issues in about 1.5 hours. They did not ask me all of the ridiculous questions and waste time.

I was able to reset the breaker, which solved the problem. We have used this company in the past, and have been very pleased with their professionalism and quickness to respond. We will definitely use them again in the future, if necessary.

We scheduled an appointment for several items (first time scheduling with Certified Electrical). They called me the day before the scheduled date and told me their electrician had an emergency and couldn't make the appointment, so their next available appointment was a week later. My husband and I both took off work so that we could be home with the electrician today for the appointment. I called to check to see where we were in the list of appointments for today. The man I spoke with had no record of our appointment. He was not apologetic whatsoever when I explained what had happened. He would not offer me any sort of discount on services. He would only schedule me for a week later. I expressed frustration at the situation, which was met with silence on his end. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism by this company.

Excellent work done professionally. I would use them again.

Based on a previous experience I decided to call CET for problems with a few outdoor plugs and some interior lights. My previous CET experience was from an Angie’s List Big Deal for a ceiling fan installation. On that visit I found the electrician honest and very professional, so I decided to use CET again. I made an appointment through Steven. His voice over the phone communicated boredom and sounded very jaded. He said that if the problem was such and such they wouldn’t repair it. I had to use my best teacher skills to flesh out a fuller explanation. (People in the trades sometimes forget that not everyone is familiar with trade lingo and terms.) Setting up the appointment I felt like I was asking Steve for a big favor rather than, I am deciding whether to give you my business. Once I got pass the “Soup Nazi (Seinfeld)” the experience was much better. The electrician who came out was professional, answered all my questions, and did the work well. He suggested covering the outlets with covers and since doing this we have not had problems with the circuit breakers tripping even with all the rain this spring. We are happy to be able to access to our home lights and outdoor plugs once again. My only concern was that because they don’t carry parts on the truck, the work needed two appoints. One to diagnose the problem and the second to do the work. I found the price expensive, but I don’t know the industry price standards. I was happy the work was done well.
