"I hired them to clear the underbrush from my building lot. They were very receptive to my needs and when they started, they went far above my expectations! They were great to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"They were very professional, on time...even finished the job earlier than expected. My walk out was Collapsing and they removed my old walkout and put installed another one with Sturdier materials all at a great price. After finishing the job there was zero mess left to clean. Not even empty water bottles from the workers. I am very impressed with this company and highly recommend them to others."

"The company contacted me and I spoke with a nice gentleman. However, a scheduled appointment was not kept and there was no follow up phone call. I gave them a high score though because of the speediness of the contact and the offered pricing seemed really competitive."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.

There are a couple of ways you can determine the depth of your well. One method is to use a device called a well sounder. This tool has a long measuring tape containing a sensor to alert you once the end reaches the water.

Or you can DIY it by using a long tape measure with a half-filled bottle of water attached to it. Lower the tape measure into your well. Once you feel tension on the tape, you’ll know the bottle has reached your static water level. This will give you an approximate idea of your well’s depth.

Prior to excavation, you should prepare the dig site and call 311 before you sign anything.

To get your site ready for excavation, you should move anything in the area that isn’t affixed to the land. You can save money on the excavation by removing hardscaping, including walkways, decks, concrete patios, and paver patios.

Before you carry out any digging, you should call 311 to confirm that there are no utility lines running through your excavation site. Skipping this step could lead to severe injury and property damage if your excavator hits a water, sewage, or gas line.

Property lines, building locations, and potential encroachments are mapped.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.
