They had a lot of feedback on Angie's List. They were just punctual when they got back to us and they did a good job, we think. They were very satisfactory in all ways. The money was a decent price, I think.

We met with 3 companies, and decided on Golden Group. Freddy gave a very thorough presentation of options and recommendations, including replacing our 23 year-old skylights at the same time. They are Master Elite certified with GAF, adding to the peace-of-mind factor. The team arrived at 6:45 AM and completed the job at 6:30 PM the same day. They moved the patio furniture off the deck, and used tarps attached to both the front and back of the house to keep the debris from the beds. Cleanup was good, and the roof looks great. Freddy is very passionate about the quality of their work, and we are happy to recommend them.

These guys are great. I got quotes from a couple other companies and Golden Group was significantly lower in price, like a few thousand lower. Freddy showed up for a consultation on an extremely windy day in the springtime. That day all our neighborhood's recycling had been blown across our lawns. Before we started the consult, Freddy just began to help me pick up the neighborhood, even when I told him I'd be right inside, he kept helping me pick up soda cans and milk jugs that were covering the street and yards. Immediately i could tell this was someone who cared about more than just selling a roof. Once inside, Freddy gave me a thorough rundown of the work that would be done, including videos and pictures. He made sure I knew what was going to happen so there would be no surprises. I was not that apprehensive to go with them because of their ratings on Angie's LIst, so I moved forward. Greta handled the communication from the point where I decided to go with them until they came to do the work. She handled the contract, billing, and following up on dates. She was fantastic. We had a hiccup where they were supposed to come on a Monday but bad weather forced them to move the appointment, which wasn't communiicated to me. But they were able to quickly reschedule for Wednesday (it was going to rain on tuesday), and Greta was very professional throughout and handled the situation perfectly. Once the installers came, Freddy was there once again and he walked me through exactly what would happen and how long it might take. At one point some of my family came home and one of the workers (or Freddy, not sure) helped them carry some of their bags up to the door. Again, just showed that this crew respects their customers and is not just in the business for the money. The install went so smoothly they were done by early afternoon. They cleaned up after themselves and then Freddy walked me through one final time to make sure everything looked good. I would strongly recommend Freddy, Greta, and the rest of the company to anyone looking to do roofing work.

Price is right, and staff are very prompt and efficient. Cleanup should have been a bit more thorough. There was a nail in the car tire the next day.

It was fall in New England and roofing contractors were looking to the spring, but Golden fit us in. They gave me a pretty quick quote, but then were not too responsive on scheduling the work. A few emails/calls and I finally got a call back for "tomorrow'". A carpenter did arrive and he did good roof wook in frigid winds. So, at the end, good work. At the start, a quick quote. There was just a bit of a problem scheduling. I recognize it was end-of-season and they were probably scrambling to fit things in.

Job was completed on time and on budget in about a half day.

It was fantastic. We had a number of issues that needed to be addressed and LOTS of questions. I often felt like I was going too far by asking so many questions in the weeks that led up to the install and these wonderful people never flinched. They were attentive, professional and really easy to work with. Nearly a year later and all is well here.

After receiving several quotes from various providers, Golden Group provided me with the lowest cost option to replace the roof on our small ranch home. Skeptical that I would "get I what I paid for" by going with the lowest cost option, Freddy Campoverde proved me wrong. Freddy and his team, actually most of his team are his family, did an excellent job. They were prompt, courteous, and professional; they are a family run business, and they care a great deal about their customers. I am extremely pleased with my selection. Prompt response to phone/email from the start. Professional and detailed quote/invoice. Price better than competition. Scheduled within very reasonable time frame and equipped with a reasonably big team, completed the job in one day and cleaned up appropriately. There was little to no disruption of my day-to-day life. Also assisted me with quote for insurance claim and discussion with adjuster, which went smoothly. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend to anyone who needs roofing services.

I met Freddy in November of 2015 after reviewing Angie's List for roofers. I had called him and set up an appointment to have him view the hail damage that was caused to my roof. He arrived and introduced himself, and we walked around the perimeter of the property, he took some photos and measurements, and he informed me that he would email an estimate of the cost to do the job, which he subsequently did. We set up a meeting with him, and we had a very pleasant conversation concerning what needed to be done. We were pleasantly surprised with his knowledge and honestly concerning his proposal. We did meet further with Freddy after that concerning the cost of the vents and gutters. We were contemplatiing expanding our roofline, and we told him we would get back to him later. After conferring with many contractors about the roofline, we decided against it. I then called Freddy in September of 2016, and he was on vacation with his family at that time, and he informed me that he would get back to us when hegot back. He called us later that month, and we told him we were ready to go ahead with doing the roof. He came by the house again and told us what to expect in terms of his trucks, the dumpster, and how the job would work itself out. Because of additional renovations going on in the area where space was at a premium for parking, he called us and told us that he would be arriving on Columbus Day weekend with a crew of 11 workers to start that Monday morning. He said the job would take three days to do. They started and actually finished the roof in almost one day, with very little left to be done. They completed the job on Tuesday, but had to come back on Wednesday to install the mesh over the gutters to complete the job. It is a five inch piece of gutter mesh that is placed under the shingles and then hooks to the front of the gutter. It will keep the leaves out of the gutter, and at the same time allows the gutter to be cleaned at a future date. All in all, Freddy's team did a wonderful job on our roof. They did a wonderful cleanup after they were done. I would highly recommend Freddy's company. to anyone who is considering doing their roof. The company is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Golden Group was very flexible in coordinating when the job would be done. They showed up on time and Freddy spoke with me to go over scope of the work. The crew worked diligently and finished the job in one day! We are very pleased with the appearance of the new roof and quality of materials used.

Of all the companies we researched, Golden Construction Group was the most professional and cost-effective. Freddy did an outstanding initial presentation about the services they offered, price options, types and colors of shingles, and types of skylights. It was an excellent marketing presentation. We had the feeling they would do a great job and that they would not try to gouge us on the price. On the day of the job, they showed up in the morning, exactly when expected and worked into the early evening, despite the cold rain. The roof replacement was a big job - they removed 3 layers of shingles, replaced most of the plywood under the roof, sistered the warped rafters, put in the new Velux skylights. Throughout the process, Freddy kept us posted about each step, showing us pictures of each stage. He was an excellent communicator, and worked onsite for most of the job, leaving only to obtain needed materials. They protected our driveway, lawn, bushes, and plants very well, using tarps. They brought their own dumpster, and clean-up after the job was excellent. We highly recommend the Golden Construction Group and would refer them to others without hesitation.

We hired Golden Group Construction company after they had completed our neighbor's roof. We were very pleased with their service. They returned phone calls and answered questions in a very timely manner. Most importantly, thought they followed up with us, they never tried to push or force us to a "sale". We were comfortable working with them throughout the process. On the day of the roof installation, there was some brief confusion about which shingles we had ordered. Golden Group went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied. Great company to work with!

We think the golden group did an amazing job on our roof in Princeton Massachusetts. Everyone was very polite left my yard very clean and what I especially liked was that we had no smokers among the 10 people that were here. In the past when we have had construction done usually it smells like tobacco all through the house.Freddie and Fabian were very professional and answered all our concerns. I would highly recommend the Golden Group construction.

Great experience from estimate all the way through. Well organized and professional team completed the job in one day, and the only minor issues (gutter and some fencing damage) were fixed on a followup without any issue.

Freddy's team was punctual and efficient. The quality of materials was superb! The crew finished the roof ahead of schedule and cleaned up my entire yard. You wouldn't of known a roof was replaced, the yard was free of ALL debris.

We found Golden Group Construction via the "Home Advisor" website. Freddy and his Team live up to the ratings and reviews posted. The Roofing quote came in very reasonable and included more, high end features and products than other Companies were charging extra $$$ for. Golden Group is very detailed oriented, patient with the Homeowners and were easy to get in contact with when we had questions. Despite their care and safety with equipment, A few of our plants and flowers were accidentally damaged around the perimeter from the work crew, and of course, a handful of nails were found after the job. BUT homeowners need to remember with the labor-intensive job of stripping and re-roofing a house this is understandable. Freddy made-good and came back to sweep the lawn of excess nails and debris. AND deducted a portion of the bill to cover costs of replacing the plants/flowers. I would recommend Golden Group to close friends and Family.

Greta at the office was very responsive. She set us up with an appointment within a couple days. Freddie came to our home to discuss the leaks we had had over the winter. He discussed how leaks can occur when ice dams form and mentioned that if the roof is not leaking when there were not ice dams then there is probably not a problem with the roof. He suggested using some professional grade caulking around one vent to reduce leaking and he suggested using the electric wire heaters in the gutters and downspouts during heavy snow to prevent ice dams in the future. We were very impressed with the professionalism of Greta and Freddie. We appreciated Freddie taking the time and providing his advice free of charge in this instance. We would definitely contact Golden Group for future roofing needs.

I received three estimates to re-roof our home and the Golden Group's was the lowest and most thorough. Additionally, Freddy's presentation of options and approach to educating us about the work that would be performed was detailed and helpful. It's unusual among businesses, let alone contractors, to excel at communication. Fortunately, the Golden Group is an exception. Setting up the schedule, responding to questions, and addressing the one or two minor issues was handled professionally and quickly by both email and phone. While I'm not a roofer, and we'll need to see how the roof performs over time, I strongly suspect that the professionalism showed during the project's management extends to the roofing itself. From a ground-level examination and pictures (they take a lot of pictures during the process) the work was performed as described. Freddy runs a tight ship and has a great operations person in Greta. Highly recommended.

We needed a roof late last year and received the best quote from Golden Group. Communication with this company is very easy, Greta is wonderful. She even answered questions we had over the weekend. She responded very quickly to our inquiries. They told us in November when we hired them that they would do the roof on December 15th which is the day they did the work. They provided credentials easily upon request. They did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this company.

Freddie, Greta, and the crew were great. They were very responsive, they answered my questions, and the roof looks beautiful. Golden Group's price was in-line with the two other prices I got. Moreover, after I signed the contract, Freddie and Greta lowered the price as a result of my neighbor using them at the same time. Though I realize running two jobs simultaneously was easier and cheaper for them, the discount showed good faith that was not necessary at that stage. Greta efficiently made some corrections and clarifications I requested in the contract. Most importantly, Golden Group's attainment of GAF's highest certification allies them to offer the manufacturer's best warrantee for material and workmanship.
